  1. You keep forgetting the asterisk. It's... pats*, remember all the cheating and stuff?
  2. Harder to watch every week.
  3. I was shouting for him after the second. It's funny how the project guys almost always have huge arms and teams think they can turn them into an actual QB. How many of them ever work out though? NP has almost every trait other than the big arm. I like that we took a flyer on a kid who actually understands how to play the position at this level.
  4. I'm looking forward to not screaming "THROW THE BALL" at the tv while TT stands there for 5 seconds.
  5. I just watched NP's presser and I was impressed. He just doesn't come off to me as a rookie and it got me to thinking. The majority of the discussion (nationally and locally) has been about Tyrod. He is a polarizing player and statistically the decision to bench him doesn't make sense if looked at in a vacuum. Many in the national media are shouting that the Bills have no idea what they are doing. I think this decision has less to do with Tyrod and more to do with Peterman. If you go back and watch the preseason games, NP outplayed TT. I know he was playing against 3rd and 4th's but he came in early in the Ravens game and played very well. The guy has an MBA from Pitt, played in a pro-style offense in college and the only real knock on him coming out was that he had a weak arm. McD and his crew have been able to evaluate him for over 3 months and even though they have an average (statistically) starter they are making this move. McD himself called this a calculated risk. You do not take a risk like this unless you have seen the potential reward. McD believes that this kid is our best QB and I can not wait to see how it unfolds.
  6. Mike and Mike are baffled. Golic said no way Peterman makes it the whole season. Now I really have faith!
  7. This is exactly what they are doing. Beane has said many times that everything they do is about the present and the future. This move covers both.
  8. Come on kid, you got this.
  9. You are a much better person than I am. I told mine that Santa only comes to kids who are Bills fans.
  10. I get that and I actually like TT for what he is. But in the limited number of snaps NP has taken, he's shown an ability to make pre-snap reads and throw with anticipation. I'm not claiming he'll be a savior, but TT doesn't do that and probably never will. Whether or not he'd be able to actually get the ball there is another question, but it's undeniable he has a skill set that TT does not have. How that plays out, no one knows. NP could end up being Tuel/Brohm/Levi Brown 2.0 or maybe he's got something more.
  11. These were the 2 throws that impressed me most and are also 2 examples of things you rarely if ever see TT do. My favorite pass of the game was the incompletion to DT in the end zone. He decided he was throwing that ball well before the snap.
  12. That is one of the saddest, most pathetic stats I've ever seen. It can't all be from losing Dareus, right?
  13. His incompletion to DT in the end zone is a good example of this point. He missed the throw but he knew he had him 1 on 1 with no help. Before the snap he decided he was going to take a shot. He looked left, shifted right and let it fly, very decisive.
  14. The insistence on playing Ducasse and Tolbert really confuses me.
  15. How did our run game turn to such **** so quickly?
  16. Let's see what innovative stuff Dennison pulls out here.
  17. It's like Rex is back and Turk Schonert is his OC.
  18. Our pass rush is pathetic.
  19. Our pass rush is pathetic.
  20. Feels very much like that.
  21. The Saints are definitely clicking right now, but if the weather forecast holds true it could be an advantage. The Raiders laid an egg in similar conditions.
  22. I found it in 2001 by way of Bills Daily. I was in my college dorm in NC. I've been coming here for all my Bills news ever since.
  23. The offensive line did him no favors, but he is still (and I think always will be) just a hair slow in committing to making his throws. That is part of the reason he has such a low turnover rate, but also what is keeping him from taking the next step. If we have to play from behind by more than 2 scores we will struggle.
