  3. People I know will tell me they went to the Adirondacks. I ask where and they'll say Old Forge. Well, technically they were in the ADK, but that's like someone saying they went to NYC and only went as close as Newark. This is the map I have on my wall of the ADK. It's about 3 feet by 3 feet..... http://www.dec.ny.gov/docs/lands_forests_pdf/adkmap.pdf
  4. I changed the link and quote to another source

  7. Because McDermott's staff is the cut off point. And I'm only asking about former head coaches, not support staff.

  9. Since you don't hike I would take Old Forge off the list. Maybe add in Lake Placid. There's enough sites to see there that don't involve hiking.
  10. Two lawyers enter! None come out!
  11. Now you'll need a full body harness with five points of attachment to the chair lift
  12. Sheriff dept says girls fault she slipped out. http://poststar.com/news/local/police-human-error-believed-to-be-cause-of-great-escape/article_d071d73e-b835-594d-954a-5bf2f339d654.html
  13. Oh, that reminded me. Spring 2014, Cali, at a Chevy's Tex Mex. Guy sitting in a booth, get pissed because one of the girls he was talking to did not want to be with him. Leaves, slamming the door on his way out. As he passes the large plate glass window where they were sitting, flips her the double bird, then punches the window, sending glass all over her. Girl was fine thankfully, just shaken up. His biggest mistake, wearing an Applebee's staff shirt. I'm sure the cops just had to go up the street to the Applebee's to find him.
  14. Almost the same order as mine several months ago, came in at $15. I usually get whatever big box promo they have, for $5, plus a drink. And some insider knowledge, the Wendy's $4 meal deal, they lose money every time someone orders that. And not just what those items are listed at on the menu, it's below their actual cost.
  15. When I moved out last year, I was given a copy of the walk through showing what was "damaged" and how much was coming out of my security deposit. I'm surprised you did not get a copy of yours. How much was she asking before taking you to court? Also, consider calling your local bar association and see what advice they can give you. I've used mine a while ago when I needed to break a lease early and the landlord refused.

  17. A few years ago, walking through a shopping plaza parking lot I hear glass breaking, and look towards the sound. Two guys had broken a car window, but when they saw me they stopped. Shock of the moment I didn't know what to do so I said "that's not nice" and kept walking. They went back to stealing someone's bag out of the car. I hind sight, I was far enough away from them and close enough to my car that I could have called 911 or at least got their picture on my phone for authorities. Last year, week of Thanksgiving, I'm at Home Depot and assisted in the take down of a shoplifter and their accomplice in the parking lot. It was one of those weeks where nothing seemed to be going right, and when you hear some woman yelling "help" and "stop him", you just jump into action. So being able to help out was the uplift I needed. Not witnessed, but heard. Years ago, sitting at home one quiet Sunday morning, reading the newspaper, I heard what sounded like gunshots, around 9am. Next day or maybe two days later, it's in the paper there was a shooting about a block away from our house.
  18. Maybe a 12-16 foot step ladder could have been enough
  19. Friend of mine never went to college, went straight into the IBEW after school. Now he's a co-owner of a decent size electrical company easily making more than me, who went to college and due to the ebb and flow of IT based businesses has not worked for a company more than 6 years.
  20. Where's the first down line? The constant score, yds, down? The fantasy football stats? Geez, how did people even watch this?
  21. That may have been an older Wand or Xpiant system. Wendy's is forcing all their franchises to convert to Aloha, which runs on MS POSReady. There is one Wendy's, I think it's near their headquarters in Ohio, that does not have the traditional counter to place your order anymore. It's all kiosk's, with one register hidden, in case someone is having difficulty with the kiosk, an employee can step in and take their order. When your order is ready it comes through a hole in the wall from the kitchen to a pickup area. I've seen pictures, I just don't have access to them.
  22. The OS they use currently comes from Microsoft... https://www.microsoft.com/windowsembedded/en-us/windows-embedded-posready-7.aspx Currently, with Wendy's, support staff for restaurants are located in Ohio, New York, and Georgia that I know of.
