  1. At the end of every season, only 1 team is happy. What comes along with a playoff season is a good run and some big wins in December. I want that. A playoff loss would hurt, but not as much as the Stealers, Raiders, and second Fish loss. BRING ON THE PLAYOFFS REGARDLESS OF RESULT!
  2. Your stats proving Gilmore is a good tackler reminds me of the person that used to quote stats to prove SJ didn't drop passes.
  3. It doesn't look like it the way he plays.
  4. Stats are for losers. There's lies, there,'s damn lies, and then there's statistics. I don't need stats when I watch the games and see him frequently run away from contact. The books out on him which is why players jump over him now. Diving low and being jumped over doesn't appear on stat sheets. Being drug 15 yards downfield shows up as a tackle on the stat sheets. I know I saw him make weak effort missing tackles that extended drives at least 3 times this year. When you have the opportunity to make a diving tackle attempt but instesd slow down to point the finger at one of your team mates, it just perpetuates the culture of losing. But the stats say he's good, so go with that. I want guys that want to win.
  5. Uh, no it's not. It's the off season. We got fa and the draft. I think we can find someone better.
  6. Guess you missed this TD saving play a few weeks ago.
  7. I take this to mean you can't name any other CBs in Gilmore's echelon there worse tacklers.
  8. Exaggerate much? I just want a CB that when he has the opportunity to STOP a drive and get the D off the field actually makes a tackle. Not either run away or dives at thier feet. I saw Gilmore keep the D on the field like this several times this year. Can you name any other CBs in Gilmore's echelon that are worse tacklers? His coverage skills are decent, but if he gives up 1st downs, TDs, and big gainers because he's afraid to tackle, it takes away from the benefits we get from his coverage ability.
  9. I'm not exactly sure what "echelon" Gilmore is in (high "echelon" guys don't get torched by Marshall and Fitz), but I'll humor you're insinuation it is high. I got 2 for ya. Revis and Sherman.
  10. Not no, but HELL NO. I want corner backs that can cover AND tackle. If you play defense you HAVE TO tackle. It's not rocket surgery. Somebody like Nate Clements for example.
  11. That's how a corner back is supposed to tackle. He stoppdd Tommy on 3rd down getting the D off the field. I guess the Bills payed corner backs to tackle back then.
  12. If you're afraid to tackle, playing defense in the NFL is a bad career choice. I want a DC who when watching 2016 film sees Gilmore "tackle" or attempt to "tackle"or whatever he calls it, or runs away from contact, throws his pencil and says (in an angry voice) "HELL NO! NO WAY THAT MAMBY PAMBY DUDE PLAYS ON MY DEFENSE."
  13. I noticed after the first few games we weren't blitzing much. I chalked it up to Rob's influence. When he was DC in Dallas or New Orleans or Cleveland or Oakland, he didn't blitz much. Then instead he was only in charge of red zone D. I guess read wrong.
  14. As Judge Jid Udy would say, "if it doesn't make sense then it's probably not true." Why would you make this decision before you hire a coach? Makes no sense. More Twitter silliness. Whatever
  15. As far as the same GM hiring 2 successful coaches back to back goes, Jerry Jones hired Jimmie Johnson and then Blarry Splitzler. Both handsomely sport Super Bowl rings.
  16. Russell Wilson has made a career out of plays like this. We should be doing it more often. Practice it. Call it in the huddle. Hotrod run around on two, BREAK. This is one reason I think Darrell Bevil should be an option. He does things on offense to take advantage of Russell's unique skill set. Probably could come up with some good ideas for our guy.
  17. I am. If he'd played good enough to win 10 games we would have won 10 games. We had 1st and goal for the win Vs Hawks and Fish. If he had gotten us in someway somehow in those we would be talking playoffs now, not getting a new coach. That's what a good QB does. He comes up small when we need him most. That's what Jimbo said and I agree 110%.
  18. Have the Bills already interviewed another minority candidate? Anthony said he wouldn't interview with anyone unless they did.
  19. I've done it. It's good practice. And, it's kind of fun because there's no pressure. You can say and ask anything you want.
  20. It wasn't just you. I thought he looked horrible too. The long pass was cool, but the DB tripped over his own feet yet still the pass was horribly under thrown. Hunter could have scored if he didn't try to pre gloat down 30-3 or whatever it was. Now that he had actually played, he's started on the slide to "he sucks". Don't bet the ranch.
  21. I can understand this and would be 100% behind him IF he could come through in the crunch to get us a couple of extra wins per season. Jimbo said the same thing. I don't care who you are, if you want to make the playoffs your QB has to be stallion and come through in the clutch at least a couple of times per year. Seattle with greatest D on the planet has to do it a couple of times. Tommy, the greatest QB in the world playing on the best team ever has to do it a couple of times per year as well. Matt Stafford has done it 9 times this year. They're in, we're not. Yeah yeah yeah, the defense. IF Hotrod had been able to come through on 1st and goal for the win vs Hawks and Fish, right now we'd be talking about how to beat the Steelers and telling funny stories about how we survived the drought.
  22. Best - Tom Coughlin. OC Anthony Lynn DC Wade Phillips. QB Hotrod Worst - hiring someone from the Patsies**
  23. I don't have a link. I'm just reading tea leaves like everyone else. We do know they met months ago. Bills interviewed all the up and coming guys last time too like Gase. But Terry went for the big glamor hit with Rex. The man spent over $1,000,000,000 for the privilege. I just don't think he's going to go with our opening day RB coach recommended by the idiot he just fired. Or some other no name punk.
  24. Terry's letting Doug run this but the decision will be his. If Whaley doesn't have Coughlin on his list, Terry will add it and invite him to the crib to chill with him and Kim. Then they hire him. That's how I see this going down. As far as the big meeting, maybe Doug was out of town or had a dentist appointment.
