  1. He works for Rex and Rex is the Defensive guru. Rex gets the blame as he well should what with promising us a bully and all.
  2. I've got a few. 1.Pete Carroll, Seattle Seahawks - The Seahawks were 7-9 the first 2 seasons. Hawks decided to stay with Sneaky Pete and it worked out. 2. Marvin Lewis, Bengals - After several bad seasons, Marv led the Bengals to 5 straight playoffs playing InThe same division with PItt and Baltimore. 3. Tom Landry, Dallas Cowboys - Tom started with 5 losing seasons and us now in the HOF. His 20 straight winning seasons in a row Bill Bellyache us still chasing. I don't like some of the things Rex does. But is having 4 coaches in 6 years and 5 in the last 8 years really the way to build a winner? It also makes it really hard to convince a quality coach to come here.
  3. In last weeks Monday Nighter, Gruden said you can ruin a young QB by playing him too soon. That sounds like a lot to lose to me. No offense, but I'm going to with Gruden and Rex'opinion over yours.
  4. Yeah, I think the coaches who work with him every day have a good idea on what he can and cannot do which is why he's not playing.
  5. Where does this injury clause come from? Is there any proof to this? Or is it like the news yesterday that Rex would be fired today? Serious question. I've seen it all over here and a couple of callers on WGR. Where did it come from?
  6. Any proof on this, or pure speculation, like, you know, Rex was getting fired today?
  7. Blah blah blah Rex ain't going nowhere nor is Whaley I suspect. Just because some sports put out an off the wall tweet doesn't mean anything. Get used to it.
  8. Jerry can do whatever he wants and I'm good with it.
  9. I agree 100%. I like Jones and am glad we drafted him, but don't rush it. 3 games is enough time to develop bad habits if he's not ready. Sounds like the Bills don't think he's ready. Don't rush just for giggles the last few games.
  10. The original premise was if we went 10-6 in which case we probably make the playoffs. Not what we have now. But really, the Bills have 3 more games and 3 more months after that to decide.
  11. I'm going to disagree on part of 1. It looked to me like McCoy was one of the only guys who gave 100% today.
  12. Years later after several lackluster years with Elvis Gerbeck and Kyle Bowler. Coach Billick lost his job.
  13. Baltimore Ravens cut their QB after winning the SB because they didn't think he was good enough. How did that work out? I'm onboard with this. Our D is terrible. If our D could hold teams to 20 Wed be kickin' some serious you know what. Hotrod has his problems too, but the defense problem is worse.
  14. Jerry Jones and Paul Allen had the same experience when they started.
  15. That's been their plan. Problem is that only works if you have a good defense which we haven't had since Coach Moron and Schwartz left town. Heck, if we did have a good D, Hotrod very well may be good enough.
  16. I'm a proud Flutie fan too and the dude could definitely ball. I was at the game today rooting hot and heavy for the Bills while wearing my Flutie jersey. So, take that.
  17. Yea, I am, for a couple of reasons. We are only 1 game under .500 over almost 2 years. We're losing due to D mostly and QB play. I'd rather address those areas than start over with a new coach. That would give us 4 coaches in 6 years. Come on man.
  18. I was at the game and the Bills looked they were shuffling around afraid they were going slip on the snow. We looked like a Florida team playing in snow for the first time. D looked like it was playing 1/2 speed. I hate to complain when D gets 3 turnovers, but I will anyway. Gutless pig performance.
  19. Here's my plan (at the moment): Hire Gus Bradley as DC. Tell Rex to leave the D alone. His only D function will be when Gus needs a coke, Rex will get it for him. Fire Dennis and Rob. Trade for AJ McCarron.
  20. Screw tanking. Just win. Worry about next year next month. "Winning is habit. Unfortunately, so is losing." --Vince Lombardi WWVD
  21. No way in H E double hockey sticks we dump our QB if we go 10-6.
  22. Hotrod had Sammy last week and he was 3 catches for 38 yards. He overthrew Sammy on what would have been a sure TD. He almost got Sammy killed on one play. He overthrew Sammy on 3rd down which was a mirror image to a bad pass to Harvin on 3rd down a few weeks ago. I once saw the Bills with EJ mortalize the Jets with Goodwin and TJ Graham at starting WRs. Cam got his team to SB without his top WR for the whole season. It's just a lame excuse IMHO.
  23. Kyle Orton. BILLS were 7-5 with him under center. 2 of the wins were due to late game QB heroics (Minn and Det).
