  1. As far as the same GM hiring 2 successful coaches back to back goes, Jerry Jones hired Jimmie Johnson and then Blarry Splitzler. Both handsomely sport Super Bowl rings.
  2. Russell Wilson has made a career out of plays like this. We should be doing it more often. Practice it. Call it in the huddle. Hotrod run around on two, BREAK. This is one reason I think Darrell Bevil should be an option. He does things on offense to take advantage of Russell's unique skill set. Probably could come up with some good ideas for our guy.
  3. I am. If he'd played good enough to win 10 games we would have won 10 games. We had 1st and goal for the win Vs Hawks and Fish. If he had gotten us in someway somehow in those we would be talking playoffs now, not getting a new coach. That's what a good QB does. He comes up small when we need him most. That's what Jimbo said and I agree 110%.
  4. Have the Bills already interviewed another minority candidate? Anthony said he wouldn't interview with anyone unless they did.
  5. I've done it. It's good practice. And, it's kind of fun because there's no pressure. You can say and ask anything you want.
  6. It wasn't just you. I thought he looked horrible too. The long pass was cool, but the DB tripped over his own feet yet still the pass was horribly under thrown. Hunter could have scored if he didn't try to pre gloat down 30-3 or whatever it was. Now that he had actually played, he's started on the slide to "he sucks". Don't bet the ranch.
  7. I can understand this and would be 100% behind him IF he could come through in the crunch to get us a couple of extra wins per season. Jimbo said the same thing. I don't care who you are, if you want to make the playoffs your QB has to be stallion and come through in the clutch at least a couple of times per year. Seattle with greatest D on the planet has to do it a couple of times. Tommy, the greatest QB in the world playing on the best team ever has to do it a couple of times per year as well. Matt Stafford has done it 9 times this year. They're in, we're not. Yeah yeah yeah, the defense. IF Hotrod had been able to come through on 1st and goal for the win vs Hawks and Fish, right now we'd be talking about how to beat the Steelers and telling funny stories about how we survived the drought.
  8. Best - Tom Coughlin. OC Anthony Lynn DC Wade Phillips. QB Hotrod Worst - hiring someone from the Patsies**
  9. I don't have a link. I'm just reading tea leaves like everyone else. We do know they met months ago. Bills interviewed all the up and coming guys last time too like Gase. But Terry went for the big glamor hit with Rex. The man spent over $1,000,000,000 for the privilege. I just don't think he's going to go with our opening day RB coach recommended by the idiot he just fired. Or some other no name punk.
  10. Terry's letting Doug run this but the decision will be his. If Whaley doesn't have Coughlin on his list, Terry will add it and invite him to the crib to chill with him and Kim. Then they hire him. That's how I see this going down. As far as the big meeting, maybe Doug was out of town or had a dentist appointment.
  11. This is the best news I've head all week. Doug can recommend whoever he wants. Terry is a heavy hitter with his eye on Coughlin. He'll get his man.
  12. Especially since we didn't win and he had 2 chances (one on regulation and one in OT) to put it away including a 1st and goal. He still can't. It's not a comeback if you don't win. If he could we would have beaten Seattle and Miami and very well may be in the playoffs. But he didn't, so we're not.
  13. Maybe you make an exception for the guy who walks in the interview flashing 2 SB rings over your division rival you've beat only a few times over the lady 20 years?
  14. If Whaley presents his "list" to peagulas and it doesn't contain Coughlin, Pegula's tells Whaley to work on his "list" some more. "Bring me back something I can work with."
  15. I'm 100% behind trading for AJ.
  16. Jacksonville did it 4 years ago and the results are in, and it's not good.
  17. Yet with predominantly the same players we went from 4 to 19. 3/4 of the line was coming off of a Pro Bowl season and the 4th was Jerry Hughes. So I'm not so sure about the good players good defense thing.
  18. This is why we need to get rid of it IMHO. It has outlived it's usefulness. We've had a Super Bowl between 2 teams led by black coaches. The only thing it does now is make the black guys look bad because they're perceived as Rooney Rule guys. Anthony Lynn himself says he's not interviewing with anyone who hasn't already interviewed a minority candidate first. What does that tell you?
  19. I brought it up in response to a poster giving credit to Hotrod for a comeback vs Fish. Almost comebacks don't count for EJ. They don't count for Hotrod. They don't count for Fitz. PS I don't hate Hotrod.
  20. Actually we were ahead 31-27 with 5 minutes to go. Then we kicked off and the D rolled over. You might want to review this. You memory seems a little off. http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2015102500/2015/REG7/bills@jaguars?icampaign=GC_schedule_rr#menu=gameinfo%7CcontentId%3A0ap3000000566248&tab=recap
  21. You're right. Hotrod had all of overtime and failed whereas EJ had less than a minute. So that's not a great comparison.
