Perhaps, but actually I think it was because Rex watched the Super Bowl with Terry and Kim. Rex turned on the charm and schmoozinator and snowed the rookie owners and they were hooked. Think about it, Rex would be a fun guy to watch the Super Bowl with. Someone like Doug Martine perhaps? If we were to be looking for a coach, and Kim and Terry like you, want an up and coming college coach, how about Jim Mora Jr. He has NFL coaching experience/success. He has gotten UCLA from dog meat to a really good team. He gets great play from his QBs. Michael Vick, Hundley, and Rosen.

We've thrown a lot of QBs out there to see what they can do (Trent, JP, EJ) and the common denominator is they all failed. Leave Jones on the pine to learn. He can get some practice by running the scout team. If we want Jones to succeed, don't rush him IMHO

My personal favorite TBD whipping boy of all times remains Chris Kelsey. We have several now. EJ, Gilmore, and new this year, Hotrod.

Please explain how these were gifts? I could sort of see "New Englang" since Tommy didn't play. As far as the others: Detroit - 3 missed FGs gifting us 9 points? Actually we gifted them 10. Kyle's 1st pass was a gift pick six into the DBs bread basket on our own 30 and Carpenter missed a fg as well. The comeback Kyle led was amazing. Still waiting for Hotrod to so something like that even though he's had multiple opportunities. Chicago - I have no idea how that was a gift. Please help me. Green Bay - Come on man. Our D whipped they're offense badly. Our running game and FGs in the 2nd half controlled the game. Causing a safety to ice the game is luck? The videos on the Buffalo Rumblings highlighted my Hotrod pet peeve. He doesn't step INTO the pocket. He drops back, stands there, and then when the Defensive Ends come around, he tries to run around them often getting sacked. I see him do this a lot when there is a clean pocket to step into. I figured this is what he would be working on in the off season, but evidently not.

I disagree. I think Touchdown Mike is better than that. When I think of dime a dozen backs, I think of guys like Boom Heron or Johnnie White. Those guys never have or ever will in their wildest dreams run 50+ once much less twice in 5 games.

He's started 16 games and been through 6 training camps/seasons. How many more do you think it will take before he can read a defense?

I have been watching Gilmore make sad,weak attempts at tackling, running from contact, and footballs bouncing off his hands for 4 years. None of this is new. Over rated.

I suspect it will all come down to how EJ plays this year. He'll get his chance to get in probably sooner rather than later. Hotrod has been beat up the 1st 2games. Only a matter of time before he's out. If EJ plays well like he did in the 10 yard pass Thursday and like he has in PS the last 2 years and we win more games than we lose, the Bills will likely try to re sign him, as will other teams.

I love the TBD thinking that some points are less important than others. In fact, some don't even count. Bottom line, even though not playing well, the Bills have been within a TD in both games. If both sides of the ball can put in a decent performance, we got a really good chance to win.
