  1. Coaches have a hard time skating away from bad records regardless.
  2. If cops just pulled people over to get money, why would they bother with poor people that don't have money? Go after the people that got money. Mercedes, BMWs, Cadillacs etc. Be like the bank robber dude, go where the money is .
  3. Apart from that Mrs Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?
  4. This was when Hillary was in the Senate and she was all for it. A Hillary foreign policy will probably look a lot like W's.
  5. They both said teach your children to dream big, work hard and they can succeed, and your word us your bond. I'm sure someone else said this before Michelle. Come to think of it, I think my peewee football coach told us this too. Michelle's delivery was way better though.
  6. If you're so incompetent you don't know the rules, you'll fit right in.
  7. Funny. All of my Democrat friends say a vote for a third party candidate is a vote for Trump.
  8. I saw Stanley Clarke a few years ago with Dennis Chambers on drums at Jazz Alley in Seattle. Probably 40 feet from the stage. I also saw him in Dallas on the Modern Man tour. I have that album. The 20+ minute version of School Days is crazy good.
  9. http://www.libertystickers.com/product/gary-johnson-better-than-the-other-two-fools/ I'm gonna get one of these.
  10. If I'm a responsible gun owner who needs a gun for protection from bad guys, if a bad guy shows up at my house, should I ask him/her to wait til I get by gun out of my safe?
  11. Boats aren't unpredictable?
  12. They can't steal your finger print though. https://smarttechfoundation.org/smart-firearms-technology/fingerprint-guns/
  13. You and me buddy. But I did see him in Dallas in like 2003. The funniest part was about 20 minutes into the concert. He was doing Beatles stuff and the crowd was up, dancing, rockin'. Then he said ,"we're gonna do one from our new album" and everyone sat down. And, it was the same kind of stuff he was playing before. I like his drummer. Abraham Laboriel Jr. His dad is a great jazz electric bassists. He played on my favorite Gary Button album, New Quartet.
  14. With all of the crimes and gun violence caused by criminals with stolen guns, this would be a way for a responsible gun owner to insure they will never contribute to that problem should his/her gun ever get stolen.
  15. Not sure how close you gotta be. It would prevent being shot by your own gun if it was less than say 6 inches.
  16. Pence, though not great is better than either Knute (govt shutdown, impeachment, serving divorce papers on wife in hospital) Gingrich or Chris (Bridgegate, blowhard, pompous ass) Christie. Those guys have too much baggage and would take too much attention away from Trump.
  17. Twitter is the old saying about a lie getting all the way around the world while the truth is putting it's boots on on steroids. We don't have a racial disparity in marijuana arrests in my state. 0 to 0. And somehow the state hadn't gone to hell with all the crazy pot heads running around making kids smoke it. No one thing can fix racism and the friction with the polive. Legalizing weed would help though. Black people NOT getting arrested for weed have less reason to hate cops. Or white people for that matter.
  18. Maybe so they can keep it loaded and not have to worry about a child getting it and shooting it. Or someone that won't have to worry about being shot by their own gun if someone takes it away from them in a struggle (it happens). Or someone who doesn't want their gun used by bad guys if it ever gets stolen. A lot of reasons why this makes sense.
  19. Tell Mom to get one of these on case one of the little creatins gets a hold of it or someone takes it away from her. http://kitup.military.com/2014/02/smart-pistol-hits-shelves-california.html
  20. Read much? Do you think economics plays no part?
  21. Terrorists ARE monsters.
  22. I believe we have reached the crux of the biscuit. While racism is part of our problems, at least as big or not bigger is how the justice system and society treats poor people. Also living with poverty makes people desperate and the law of the jungle takes over. I think that's in part what we're seeing in Chicago. When I was younger driving 20 year old Volkswagens I frequently got pulled over for headlights or tail lights out. Now that I drive a late model car this no longer happens. One of the things that got us into this position IMHO was redlining in the 30s-60s. Segregated all the blacks in one area where economic development could not happen. Present day problems are in part caused by this practice. http://www.blackpast.org/aah/redlining-1937 OJ Simpson wasn't pulled out of the Bronco and wrestled to the ground, and he had no problem getting a fair trial. The OJ trial proved the system works. A rich black man can get off just like a rich white man.
  23. SJ did some good things but he was a loser who singlehandedly lost several games for us due to drops. We haven't had a losing season since he left town. Coincidence? I think not.
  24. Gilmore is OK, not great by any stretch. Saying he's top 5 or even 10 is laughable IMHO. He gets beat too often, is not a very good tackler, and can't catch. One if his 3 picks last year he got because he got beat, fell down, and the football which was overthrown to the the underneath guy came right to him. He can be replaced. Darby is probably already better. No way I pay big coin to keep him.
