  1. Surely you do see the irony though?
  2. This sounds like fun. An 18 piece mairachi band. Lot of loud trumpts I would assume. I'm not real sure what kind of mariachi band it is though.
  3. I kinda dig watch Adam Schiff on interviews on TV. He does a lot of 'em. He's so pompous and all knowing. As far as real favorites right now, I'd go with Tammy Duckworth. Gulf War veteran who got her legs blown off. A hero.
  4. Fahrenheit 451 is a great book. I highly recommend it.
  5. There certainly was last November. Once Bernie was eliminated by the Democrat party , many walked away and voted for Trump. Even many that voted for Barack.
  6. I just hope the offense is as effective as it was under Roman. Top 1/3 of the league in scoring coupled with a good D could go a long way. I expect it to be run heavy ground and pound with safe passing. Protect the football. Extend drives more often. Play good D and hope to score 20 will be process I believe.
  7. This is one of the reasons I couldn't vote for Secretary Clinton. She thinks I'm stupid. I won't remember what she did in the past. I won't remember that on her watch an ambassador got KILLED. I also won't remember when she tells me that women making accusations of sexual harassment against powerful men, should be believed but when it happened to her husband she referred to them as "bimbo eruptions" .
  8. Whenever I receive a bribe from the Russians i always include it in my tax filings to the IRS. Iirc it goes on form 007.
  9. Perhaps. I get what you're saying. But we made the playoffs last year. We're ready to compete now. True QB is a little sketch at the moment but we can work around that. We did last year. Steelers won the SB doing that in 2005. I disagree with the long term plan thing. The Rams were in the same boat as us last year. fired a dumpster coach with a bad record. Now we're both in our second year. We both lost in round 1 of playoffs. They don't have to wait until they get all the pieces put together first. We've been waiting to put the pieces together for 17 years. And, in a couple of years if not sooner we'll start losing these guys to FA and have to use FA bucks to pay their replacements. Hopefully it all works out, but I wish we had shown a little urgency in WR department. Hopefully someone steps up.
  10. I find it interesting that a team with a young QB and an offensive genius as HC thinks it's important to go after top notch WR talent whereas we run with KB, Kerley, and maybe Zay and then who knows after that ...
  11. I was walking my dog this morning and almost tripped over a rock. I kicked down the road a little. I looked down where the rock was, and there was a Russian down there. (S)he was hiding under the rock.
  12. Could you please point to an example of hyperbole done properly? It would help those of us not attuned to the finer points of hyperbole.
  13. He doesn't play for a team. He's the coach.
  14. Far better to dump him now. Save the cap space. Tank. Get the first pick next year. Draft Allen's replacement.
  15. I remember the last time we dumped our best RB. Let's just cool down and see what happens. could be another Corey McIntire type situation. Looks bad at first only to turn out to be nothing.
  16. I have visions of the week 4 2013 home opener. Bills 23 Raisins 20. EJ's rookie season. Raisins were defending SB champs. EJ the Great! Improved our record to 2-2..
  17. They're gonna be bunged up. We'll be fresh.
  18. i would take Gillislee back.
  19. like maybe trading up into top 8 to take a QB? We'll just have to wait and see if he is any good :).
  20. Eddie "The Round Mound of Ground and Pound" Lacy.
  21. high point can also be used a s a verb as in "he high pointed the football".
  22. This was my favorite part:
  23. a lie travels all over the world before the truth can get it's pants on.
  24. I agree. however the time to do that was either in the draft or FA. We pretty much gotta roll with what we got now. WR after last year was a glaring hole that Beane decided not to address in any real way,
  25. Of course for this to happen we have to find a couple more "frontend" guys. Really, at the moment we only have one who hopefully can stay healthy this year (KB),
