I've pretty much got out of the Jersey buying business because I really don't like the Nike ones. i did get a brand new TO Reebok throwback sewn on numbers for Fathers Day. Sweet! I have Quinn Early, Flutie, RJ, The Beast, Fred, DJ, Lee Evans, TO, Mario, EJ, Blue Dreadslow, and Spikes. I wear them all. Shows I'm a true fan, not some Johnny Come Lately in an Allen jersey.

I agree with you. He didn't impress me last pre season. He looked like an NFL QB from central casting. 6' 2" pocket passer. But he only completed 1 /2 his passes. His longest pass was about 20 yards. He had a hard time when the pass rush was heavier, and he fumbled a couple of times. He did make some nice Passes, there were just way too many bad ones in between.

there we a lot more to it than this.going from first in rushing 3 years in a row to 6th and Shady's ypc dropping 1.4 yards from 2016 had something to do with it too. As well as going from top 12 in scoring the Last two years to29th. Add in ridiculous play call on 1st and goal from the one in playoff game didn't help his case. Jocks eat this whole "chip on your shoulder" thing up. it's how they motivate themselves. Coaches thrive on it as well "they said we couldn't do it" blah blah blah. It's even part of "The Process". It was used to great effect by Coach McDermott and the guys last year and will too this year. I think it silly that people have a problem with it.

I agree with a lot of this. However the Bills did not "give" him anything. He earned it. He was a good Bill and left the Bills in a better place than he found them. Hopefully JA, AJ, and Nasty Nate will be able to say the same although it is far from guaranteed.
