Julio Jones Trade possibilty?
reddogblitz replied to dwight in philly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why not? I'd think a SB experienced WR that knows how to get open and catches the freakin' football would be just the kind of WR a rookie QB needs. -

All the more reason to go balls out. In the age of the sAlary cap and FA you can't fool around with long team building plans. Every year you're turning over 20% if you're lucky it's only that much. By the time we get those WRs next year and producing, then Shady will be gone. Milano and the Teredavian Nightmare will be ready cash in a la Happy Gilmore along with others The days of the 4 year rebuilding plan are over and have been over for a while now IMHO. I don't even pretend to know anything about the sAlary cap. I leave that to the resident capologists. I'm a football fan, not an accounting fan.. -

Julio Jones Trade possibilty?

Right we got worse by dumping Sammy and Woods and replacing them with jjordan "broken heart" Mathews and some other guys whose names i can't even remember. if true, give them whatever they want. The best way to develop a young QB is to surround him with guys that can catch the football. Not guys like Zay Jones and D Thompson signed in the middle of the season after being cut by the Bears. I thought after we got Allen and then the 2nd 1st round pick came along We'd take Ridley. Sort of like how the Bungles got AJ Green and Dalton in the same draft. The linebacker looks good, but D was already the strength of the team. O was quite the contrary. sinking all these resources into an alleged inaccurate passer and standing pat on WR seems ill advised to me. -
Who would take a Training Camp hero/football game choker. There is enough film on him already to know how to stop him. Anthony Lynn said he decided to bring max pressure after watching the Nasty Nate pre season games, you know, when he was doing really good. Unless he can stop nutting up when the heat is on, he's toast anyway. I'd put him on the PS. I think he'd be safe and if not, oh well.

Let's talk about Buffalo's weaponry in the passing game.

Totally. Look at Atlanta. They have a "franchise QB". One of the best. Yet since they got him they have traded up to round one TWICE TO get top shelf WRs. First Julio and they just did it again this year. -

I kind of disagree with this. Some guy named Brady has the kind of WRs his offense uses effectively. We often think of good WRs a being the the tall lanky, fast dudes al a Julio Jones, AJ Green, etc. Their offense doesn t throw fades and back shoulders or jump balls etc. instead they hit short fast guys on the run. They also do a lot of picks plays. And they have the Gronk. They have the kind of WRs that work for their offense. They're not conventional, but they're still good, just different IMHO. -
The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency
reddogblitz replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
This is exactly what's gong on. Trump is the biggest best troll ever. Really good. And his opponents fall all over themselves falling for it. It makes for great entertainment IMHO. -
i realize that. You don't have to call me a knucklehead though. poor wording. I meant that's how they came to the attention of police and were indeed deported. This is one of the things people are griping about now that they didn't care about a few years ago was my point. My point was really about hypocrisy. In my state, our governor who I Suspect will run for prez next time "found out" that police in the stAte were notifying ICE when they picked up someone they suspected as not being a citizen. He was livid an ordered it stopped. First off, how did he not know this? I knew it was going on. It had been going on for years. Which brings me to another bit of disingenuous and hypocrisy. Politicians love to say "we are a nation of laws. We must hold them accountable." They love to say this about Hillary or Trump. Unless it's a law they don't like or can make political hay from. Then play it up until after the election. It's an issue that may never get solved much less addressed. It's a great campaign issue for both sides. And their donors don't want to do anything about it. It's cheap lsbor. America was built on cheap labor. Follow the money.

Hey, my only point on the mention of the tail light crap was to say that many were deported for minor offenses. Do you think that's not true? A internet search turns up many articles about it. For example: https://www.themarshallproject.org/2016/09/26/who-is-ice-deporting Even CNN says so (from 2014): https://www.cnn.com/2014/04/08/opinion/kohn-immigration-deportations/index.html

1/2 of Hotrods picks last year bounced off of Clays hands. He needs to do a better job catching the football when it hits him in the hands this year. -
how is Josh Allen doing so far?

Like who for example? pass was high. He's gonna get somebody killed with passes like that -
Barack, but that not my point. Sorry if I did not state it very well. I just find it a little disingenuous and hypocritical that people are so upset about this breaking families up business. Since 2000, the USA has deported over 5,000,000 people. Some for being pulled over for a burned out tail light. How many families were broken up in the process? I think a safe guess would be millions. Yet during this whole time, nary a peep from anybody about that. Those detention centers didn't just spring up over night. I do not intend this as a BO screed, just an all presidents this century and their sheep screed.

Follow the money. Private prison industry is making a lot of money off this. One question I have not heard asked or answered in this. I've heard 1,000,000 times that 2000 children have been taken from their parents and put in cages. Not good. Ok, how many children were in these holding centers the day BEFORE this all starteD? How many children went through this system in 2015? I know 3000,000 were deported that year. Were any families broken up in the process?

It is for me too. QB roster spots are valuable and in short supply. Why take it up with a guy that if you baby sit him for another 2 years might maybe turn into a "serviceable backup" whatever that is? I'd rather find someone else to give a chance. I'd bring in Vernon Adams Jr. over him for one. Based on his last 4 plays in his last appearance as a Bill, one first down, one fumble. one penalty called on him, and one pick, he hasn't forgotten yet.
