  1. Could you please point to an example of hyperbole done properly? It would help those of us not attuned to the finer points of hyperbole.
  2. He doesn't play for a team. He's the coach.
  3. Far better to dump him now. Save the cap space. Tank. Get the first pick next year. Draft Allen's replacement.
  4. I remember the last time we dumped our best RB. Let's just cool down and see what happens. could be another Corey McIntire type situation. Looks bad at first only to turn out to be nothing.
  5. I have visions of the week 4 2013 home opener. Bills 23 Raisins 20. EJ's rookie season. Raisins were defending SB champs. EJ the Great! Improved our record to 2-2..
  6. They're gonna be bunged up. We'll be fresh.
  7. i would take Gillislee back.
  8. like maybe trading up into top 8 to take a QB? We'll just have to wait and see if he is any good :).
  9. Eddie "The Round Mound of Ground and Pound" Lacy.
  10. high point can also be used a s a verb as in "he high pointed the football".
  11. This was my favorite part:
  12. a lie travels all over the world before the truth can get it's pants on.
  13. I agree. however the time to do that was either in the draft or FA. We pretty much gotta roll with what we got now. WR after last year was a glaring hole that Beane decided not to address in any real way,
  14. Of course for this to happen we have to find a couple more "frontend" guys. Really, at the moment we only have one who hopefully can stay healthy this year (KB),
  15. Until I see some actual evidence, yeah. Innocent until proven guilty, remember?
  16. I almost give EJ a pass on that game due to the late "pass interference" call. It's part of the NFL's strategy to sell Jags as Lodon's team. They already have a full time marketing office there. They play there every year. Nothing sells easier than winning. Those Brits don't know the rules so they won't know the difference anhway
  17. did you miss the Jacksonville game in London?
  18. No dog hair at the Ralph that day?
  19. I was going to nominate this one as well. Christmas Eve Eve. As we drove to the stadium from Rochester it was a beautiful day. I brought all kinds of cold weather gear because it was predicted. I remember waiting outside to get in taking to some giants fans who said if Eli's last name was Schwartz he'd be working at McDonalds. Game started great as we jumped out to an early lead. the Beast and Trent were on fire. Then, old man winter arrived. It rained really hard for about a half hour. Rain was soaking through my ski pants. then it got colder and colder (as did the Bills play). We left as the sleet started. It later turned to snow. Earth Wind and Fire seemed unaffected as they ran all over us.
  20. Maybe not 80 yards, but they were definitely both TDs.
  21. This play happens a lot more than bills fans give credit for. I watched a game a few years ago with 2 really good QBs (Drew Bres and somebody else I think) and they each threw that pass in the game. I've seen Andrew Luck do it. Obviously not a good play, but EJ is far from the only one to do this. He is in good company.
  22. Dick camping on the 35 yard line at the end ensuring a long FG attempt instead of trying to get closer still kills me. that was the night I officially got off of the Dick Jauron band wagon. Also have a funny memory of the Beast being wide open in the end zone and (it seemed) everyone at the stadium pointing to him and saying throw him the ball Trent. Finally Trent saw him too and delivered a nice pass .. finally. This game was also not too far away from the dreaded Cowboys MNF debacle IIRC.
  23. No Holmes love? I thought he played pretty well last year. Caught the tip ball from Zay in the EZ. Seems to be adept at catching footballs on the boundary. Not great, but pretty solid when the football is thrown to him. Won't be surprised if he makes the team and contributes again this year. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000868778/Andre-Holmes-beats-the-coverage-drags-his-feet-to-nab-first-down
  24. And look what happened to her. Do you think they were fair with her and just after the truth as opposed to trying to nail her hide to wall for something, anything? Money laundering? How do you think this worked?
  25. Just curious. What do you think Pooty Poot "has" on him? Infamous pee tape? So what? He's a pig. Everybody knows and most people don't care. Some financial crime? He's got an army of lawyers. Jaywalking in red square captured on surveillance tape? some secret meeting Mueller after 18 months of digging has not been able to find? What do you think he could have on Don that he would be afraid of?
