  1. i think it fell apart for EJ after he came back from the injury in the Clowns game. I was at the Ravens game at the Ralph when they were defending champs a couple of weeks after Carolina. EJ played well. He hit Woods on a nice 45 yard bomb. I swear he made one of the best ball fakes I've ever seen. He faked a hand off to the RB and then stood there like he was watching. In the mean time Lee Smith snuck out in the flat and EJ lobbed pass to Lee, but Lee tripped over his own feet and couldn't reach it. Next play he hits Woods in the EZ for a ,TD but it got over turned on"process of the catch" nonsense. at half time of the Cleveland game I and many others on here thought maybe we had found our guy. Then the injury and then it fell apart. Sad.
  2. I am so with you here. I'm going to be watching those short throws in pre season. If he is indeed having trouble with them as reported, he has no bidness anywhere near the field until he can.NFL is passing league and most of them are short.
  3. Thanks for posting. Starting to feel more and more like football season. I have a Bills game setup to TIVO!
  4. What about Alex Smith? He started right away and was bad for years. Usually a guy like this gets tossed out. A bust. Shouldn't have started right away. But, then they get a new coach and he was really good. Good thing he started right away.
  5. The Bills 2nd 1st round pick speaks volumes on the Allen starting year 1 question. If they wanted Allen to start right away they probably would have taken Ridley. But they went D instead. Makes me think it's a red shirt year for Josh. Trust the Process. What's the hurry? He ain't going nowhere.
  6. i used to work with Doug Allen. of course I meant JoshAllenThrew5Picks.
  7. Alex was the first pick. He started right off and stunk until Hardball arrived 4 years later I think it was. I was shocked. I used to think he stunk and made fun of him. Now I think he is one of the top QBs. He really turned it around. I think he proves coaching matters a lot for young QBs
  8. Ok. I went to the VA for 7 years in late 70s and early 80s. Was not a fan. I would spend the whole morning there for an appointment. Then I got a real job and family and health insurance. Then my prescriptions went up and up and up so I went back. It's much better now. I go to an office for some stuff. Some I go to hospital. Looks clean but I've never been inside the pharmacy. I get right in. My care there has been excellent. I'm not an amputee or need extensive care like the guys at Walter Reed. One man's first hand knowledge: Quality care from good doctors and good customer service. Can't speak to yelp reviews. Maybe the VA needs to spend some coin to get some better reviews written?
  9. And hopefully we don't get in the position where we are paying our QB so much we can barely field a whole team kindof like the Lions and others. Hopefully Josh Allen is the second coming of YA Tittle.
  10. Ouch. Sorry to hear that. I had mine done there when I was 21 or so. I didn't get put to sleep or get laughing gas or fancy pain meds.. Novacaine and Tylenol 3. But it worked. My wife once got an infection in a private Dentist's office.
  11. Maybe just lock down the screen name DougAllenThrew5Picks just to be on the safe side.
  12. Have you ever been treated at a VA mecdcal center? I have. I get some of my care there and it's good. It's not like you hear about. Sure they fug up sometimes, but they also have a ton of heroes to take care of. What hospital doesn't? I'm not saying the govt should run health care like that for everyone, but it's not the sh!t hole it's made out to be either. I had my wisdom teeth pulled at the VA and it went well.
  13. I still seriously doubt that if Medicare for all were implemented taxes would go up by the astronomical amount each individual now pay for health care (including your what your company now pays which they would no longer have to pay). Sure taxes would go up. So what? My total healthcare spending would go down if implemented well. Big if I know. What we got sure ain't working and as long as politicians are in the pocket of Pharma and insurance (forever) it won't get much of any better.
  14. I don't care if our offense is "modern" or not as long as they score a lot of points. Hopefully they can be as effective as the Bills 2015 stone age offense with an RB at QB that finished 13th in the league in points. I'd take that. There are no style points in football.
  15. This is what they did in Seattle. Seattle is in King county named after who as it turned out owned slaves. So they changed the logo and now claim it was name after Martin. https://www.kingcounty.gov/about/logo.aspx
  16. Link? If I buy a $10,000 policy on Affordable Care Website (my cost now) and then Medicare for All is passed, will my taxes go up $10.000? Doubtful. While I'm working, my company won't have to pay premiums either. Would be good for business. Especially small business.
  17. Would taxes go up as much as my insurance premium costs?
  18. You can pretty much count on this happening.
  19. I'd put Philly on the regress list. It's hard to repeat.
  20. White folks just now figuring it out? Didn't stop a lot of 'em vote for Barack for some unknown reason. Maybe they're just slo learners?
  21. i disagree. In EJ's first game he left the field with a lead over the Patsies**. A Stevie drop on 3rd down late forcing us to punt. d Couldn't hold 'em. In the Cleveland game he was playing well and the popular TBD sentiment was we may have found our guy. Then injuries etc and rushing him back because we had no one else and he was out. I can't say a wait definitely would have helped him nor can you say it wouldn't. How can you tell David Carr would have done better had they held no out ahead to build the line? As it went down he spent most of the time on his back.
  22. Doubtful. But then again we snatched Brian Brohm off the Cheese's PS. And it's not 5.6 grams for you weed smokers. what rounds were Kurt Warner, Tony Romo, and Johnny Unitas taken in?
  23. Reportedly Whaley wanted to hire Coach McDermott in 2015. Coach McDermott was one of his choices in 2017 too. Guess he should have checked to see McDermott's BFF was a wannabes GM. Sorry, I think Whaley gets an undeserved bad wrap. He left the Bills better than he found them.
