"Austin", TX is racist

serious question. How do you know it's happening more? Do you think this type of thing didn't happen before everyone has an H D camera in their pocket? How would you know? i don't know if it has or not. Used to,we would just say, what an awesome and move on when we saw something like t his. Now it goes "viral" and a lot of people make assumptions about how often it happens and assume it's the new normal. -

This reminds me of joke I read in Willie Nelson's book Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I Die A man whose favorite food in the whole world is Chocolate Chip Cookies was in a coma for weeks. The doctors thought he was going to die. They told the family. Then, the man wakes up. He smells coming down the hall the smell of his favorite food, Chocolate Chip Cookies. He gets up and stumbles down the hall to a room where the smell is coming from. On a table is a big plate of freshly backed Chocolate Chip Cookies. He reaches down to grab one. Then his wife slaps him on the hand and says "NO, those are for the funeral." -
I thought by your comment that you had to be there to understand meant you were and thought I was not. There was an ABA team in Dallas called the Dallas Chaparrals which became the San Antonio Spurs. My Dad sold the printing to them so he got us free tickets a lot. We went down to SA to see him once with Geroge Gervin. He was an amazing player as well. We went to a lot of games. We saw them play against the Dr. several times. Then they moved and later the Mavericks started up in 1980. I watched his 76er games when they were on TV. Then I went to several Mavericks games vs 76ers and the Dr. He was better IMHO.

rough situation for sure. But these are the bigs and we're trying to win. Guys not getting blocked on a play is not an uncommon occurance. Did he say he wasn't blocked the whole game? Every time I read this part about the guy not getting blocked it reminds me of this play. It's fun to re watch and laugh.

Perhaps it's a difference in perspective. You seem to be okay with backup QB that's not very good as long as he holds down a roster spot and is cheap. i want a back up QB of quality that if our starter gets injured we still have a chance to win. Frank Reich bailed us out a few times. The El Perfecto Fish played about half that season with a backup QB. and as to Nasty Kate's first game being like many other rookies. Can you name one? As far as rookie QBs go, it was the worst since the AFL/NFL merger. But ok. Give him a pass on that. Playoff Game not tell you anything either? 4 plays. 1 run for 1st down on 4th and 3. 1 completion. 1 Penalty on bim. 1 pick. Tough spot, but that's the gig. Ironically this is almost word for word the same stuff I was reading on here in 2010 about The Beast. I think this was kind of Kirby's point.

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency
reddogblitz replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
LeBron supports school choice with a private option. I thought Republicans liked that and Democrats hated it. trump campaigned on it. Now D's are giving him kudos and Trump is calling him stupid. Politics in America is complicated. -

Cool. I agree with you on the censorship thing btw. I believe FakeBook and Tweeter are actively censoring opinions they don't like. But again they are free enterprises and can do what they wish in that regard within reason and the law. I think they "social media" is the most effective tool of population control devised thus far. I suppose it is somewhat debatable if they are actively using it for that or not. Certainly worked for Russia in the 2016 election. My answer is to not use their "services". Voting with my thumbs as it were. -

FakeBook and Tweeter are private enterprises. They can do what they want with their platformS. Rs (free enterprise/less regulation) are against this? -

She has a good point that we can find money to attack other countries without provocation resulting in the death of million, Not to mention all the more We spend and will continue to spend over the next 40 years on the people that got their legs blow off or got PTSD. Still doesn't explain where we'll get thE money from. Unless it's we've screwed up badly in the pAst so late just keep doing it. I also find it interesting she says Rs have been winning for the last 10 years. I guess passing the ACA, the D's plum issue, and winning 2 out of the last 3 prez elections does not count as "winning". if the Bills win 67% of their games (11-5) this year, PLAYOFFS !! -
Try this one. Here are 2 back to back non read and run followed by Hotrod taking it in himself. and for those saying Holmes isn't good, check out that catch on the first play. If/when Allen puts a drive like this together we'll be measuring him for his gold jacket I suspect. I can find others if you need to see more. Again, I understand why people don't like him, but you don't gotta make stuff up.

Evidently he would call white presidents stupid too. He also pretty much pulled the same routine on "Pocohantes" who is also white. He's an equal opportunity annihilator.
-
True. Good catch. OK, he was a second year backup QB that has never played. Bombs away! or play more conservative than with your starter? Here's his stat line from 2015 as a 2nd year guy that had never started a game. These are the stats of "bad QB"? 2015 Cincinnati Bengals 79 for 119 66.4 comp % 854 yards 7.2 ypa 6 TDs 2 Ints

He was the BACKUP. What HC in a stretch run and playoff game with a rookie backup is going to put him in and let it fly like his starter does? Bombs Away! I get the knock that he has won with talent. Legit knock. But at the same time doesn't prove that he is "not a good QB". When hasTom Brady or Big Ben ever played on an un talented squad? Does that mean he's not good? I'm gonna wait and see what he does. Personally, I think he has a chance to be really good. I'm not saying he is gong to be the next Kurt Warner, but can't we at least give the guy a chance?
-
like this? I can understand why some dislike Hotrod, but you don't need to make stuff up. If he were a one look and run guy he would have run a lot more and gotten sacked less. There are plenty of other plays like this. Even some others in the same game.
