Keep Talking About Impeaching Trump, Dems
reddogblitz replied to 3rdnlng's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
If there is a "damming Clapper/Obama tweet" a screen shot of it should be forth coming shortly. Unless the deep state somehow hides it which is dang near impossible. Screen shot Twitter bots should have it. -

Sal Carpaccio: Corey Coleman Is In Trouble

why are yall so down on Holmes? He made some really nice plays last year and has played well in PS. i think he makes the team and produces. Keeping a guy that can't catch the football looks worse. -
Cohen's Plea Deal and its Implications for Trump
reddogblitz replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I do find Cohen hiring Clinton mouth piece Lanny David as his lawyer very interesting. -
Still not convinced there was not a sizable element of luck in that play. I thought the one vs Clowns was better.

Zay "Drop Zone" Jones at #2? WTF I swap him for Coleman or Ray Ray -
True. I have no real idea on who should or will start. I have my suspicions. I just think a lot of us are getting out ahead of ourselves. Josh played really well vs Cleveland's backup defense on 3 drives. One extended by a illegal hands to the face that would have been a 3 and out otherwise. The other drive started on the Clown 41. The 2nd half drive fizzled. Not taking away from the good stuff he did. It's a good start. But "franchise QB" and such labels are way too premature IMHO. I'm looking forward to what he does against Cincy starters. But even then, it's pre season without game planning. While encouraging, it means nothing. His first outing was very hit or miss. At this point in EJ's career a lot of us were saying we'd found our guy. Trent was getting Joe Montana comparisons at this point in his career. I'm encouraged, but am holding my buffalos.

I'm not saying he doesn't have a strong arm. Obviously he doez. I think it's also sports announcer laziness like the whole O'Leary/Nicholas thing. Or, Fitz went to Harvard.

Knowing Coach McDermott i doubt very seriously fan reaction plays into his decision making process at all. Fans had pitch forks and stuff out when he made his QB decision last year and we made the playoffs. "A coach that listens the fans is soon sitting with them." - - Marv Levy Has anyone ever heard any announcer mention his name without saying big arm (or some varient) within 5 words?

I thought AJ played very well vs Panthers and made some really nice plays and as Coach McDermott says "generated points". 10 points on 2 long drives. The 62 yard play was studly. I almost give him a Mulligan on Fridays game. First KB drops one in his bread basket. Then the horrible protection he got. Bernie Kosar said a few times with the pressure he was getting he had no chance to do anything. Writing him off at this point is very premature IMHO. Coach McDermott pretty much says the same for what thats worth.

The Bills Are Seven Point Dogs in Week 1
reddogblitz replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Probably so. That's the way it's gone the last few meetings. The one that gave up 10 to Jacksonville in the playoffs. -
Amen my brother. Buffalo Bills Fan Inferiority Complex is rampant (BBFIC) is rampant. Never understood it especially now. The drought is over. The monkey is off our back. It's about winning now. How has he "bounced back"? He showed up and did his job. He better for what we're paying him. This play gave me flash backs to the playoff game.

I was at the Ravens home game his rookie year when Baltimore was defending Champs. He played very well including a 50 yard bomb and to fellow rookie rookie Robert Woods. I the second half on the 5 yard line he made one of the best ball fakes I've ever seen a and delivered s perfect pass but Lee Smith tripped over his own feet. Next play he hit Woods onES for TD but on further review Booger said he didn't maintain control of the process of some such nonsense. My point is just that he started really well even though he had Hackett Jr as OC/QB coach. Under better circumstances he may have turned out. It was a disservice.

Do you think our "offensive line" had anything to do with this? Bernie Kosar, a guy that knows a little about QBing, said several times that with the blocking AJ was getting he had no chance. Or the plAy where 2 offensive lineman didn't know who to block so they blocked no one. It was bad. Benjamin dropping the first pass didn't help either. i think he makes the team.

Who will start preseason game 3 vs Bengals?
reddogblitz replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know. I'd rather go 19-0. My opinion is the consensus and also my opinion from watching college games is he is a project and should be treated as such. As far as your question goes, I'd rather win 6 or 7 with someone else in than win 6 or 7 with Allen developing bad habits. What's the hurry? He ain't going anywhere. Wait till he's ready. Set him up to succeed. But if he starts he starts. Go BILLS !! -

Was thinking more of like "When a LB lines up here it means he is disguising the overages so look over here .." Watching what AJ or whoever does and then learning from that. As opposed to him learning it by throwing a pick in a close game. I understand the trial by fire argument. But he's not Peyton Manning or Andrew Luck. All scouting reports before draft were "he's a project". He still is and should be treated that way if at all possible IMHO.
