  1. good catch. Thanks for th e correction. Actually Chris Miller was the guy I was thinking of. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/atl/1991_roster.htm the process has already given one promising looking prospect the yips. Goodness knows we don't need another.
  2. Did you ever see Dion Sanders play for the Bisons?
  3. All jocks have hot girlfriends and/or wives. Why do y'all make such a big deal about his?
  4. With what we got,, work him out. If in any kind of shape, invite him to camp. He would also have in his contract that he will be enshrined into the hall as a Bill.
  5. But make sure to Tivo it so you can fast forward through the commercials and all the time outs.
  6. I remember that draft and I thought The passing game genius The Chanial would take him. But then again we were extremely weak on D too.
  7. So you're gonna take Marv Lewis' opinion on this? Marv Lewis? Really? I'm gonna wait until he plays at least a few PS games before I make any evaluation. Brett FAvre couldn't beat out Chris Chandler btw.
  8. Yeah I was at that game and it had that old familiar feeling, until it didn't! xRUSHx missed it because he left at half time.
  9. Were all the 10 AFC teams that didn't make it just unlucky?
  10. This is the answer IMHO. The difference was this year we found a way to win a few close games past teams would have figured out a way to lose. 3 games in particular come to mind. Against thE defending NFC champs in their own house. The snow game. Looked lost til our D forced a 3 and out. We get the football back and our 3rd string QB hits a WR signed off the street the month before. Against TB, we were winning most of the game but found ourselves down 7 with 3:00 to play. O and D came together with big plays for the win. During the drought we regularly lost games like this. That's the difference IMHO. As far as the luck I angle, it calls to mind a quote from the late great Louis Pasteur. "Chance favors the prepared mind."
  11. I can't listen to him. He sounds like a low budget business consultant spouting well worn phrases about commitment and process blah blah blah ad nauseum. Love the winning though.
  12. If we had been winning, Rex would have been a lot of fun. But since we didnt, he was just another blithering loud mouth. Too bad. He had the talent, just couldn't make it happen (due to his own buffoonery).
  13. Quinn Early Flutie Rob Johnson Drew Bledsoe Spikes Lee Evans Fred The Beast Mario Williams EJ I don't like the Nike jerseys. I only have a couple. Not planning on getting any more any time soon.
  14. Rex did have the best record of the drought coaches.
  15. All you gotta do is watch a few games last year to see he has catch problems. drops is too subjective to be a stat IMHO. JUSt curious, what's the criteria for a "drop" in these stats? Clay drops way too many passes too. 1/2 of Hotrod's picks last year bounced off of Clay's hands into a waiting DB's hands.
  16. I miss his offensive prowess. Top third in the league in scoring two years in a row.
  17. True. I looked it up and you are indeed correct. Thanks for the correction ?????
  18. At least they rank ahead of "The Ocho".
  19. Come on man. I wonder how many other playoff teams fans are wondering if they'll have a better record than the Clowns? I think you might be stuck in drought thinking mode again. did you by chance predict a 3 or 4 win season last year too? Grass is always greener ...

  21. We didn't trade UP to take EJ. We traded DOWN and took Robert Woods with the pick we got from Lambs. Too bad EJ didn't work out
  22. The Mighty Titans were only able to beat us with a tricky illegal play that should have been called back in their own house against us playing our backup QB who had a bad game. World beaters? I think not. Flutie plays, we win, and it ain't even close. You'll NEVER convince me otherwise ?
  23. I think you're right on with this one.
