  1. Never- Can't stand the feeling of the car acc/dec without my input. Plus, I have a fire-spittin' old ragtop- that and my GF's car are too much fun to drive. )
  2. Pearson made 88 'The' WR number, much like 12 is 'The' QB number. Not sure about greatest ever, but waaaaay up the list.
  3. This all makes too much sense. I hope our current coaches have a similar philosophy. Ultimately I couldn't care less if our QB's throw a bunch of picks in TC/pre-season if they're testing the abilities of their offense along the way. I wonder how much 'keeping up appearances' has come into play in the past- seems like we've had more than our share of timid QB play for... forever.
  4. Nice work- why other people don't understand this kind of stuff is laughable. Obviously the WR's are affected by QB play, and if the QB is leaving the D on the field the whole game, bad things are gonna happen. I mean, really, the QB play affects the kicking game as well. Kickers miss kicks if the QB walks away leaving the ball on the wrong hash mark or yard line! Duh, why is it so hard for people to figure out!!! I mean, think of it this way- if the water boy spills sports drink on a QB's hands, and his throwing hand is sticky, and he misses a throw- blame the water boy. It's the same as quarterbacking- the water boy is the quarterback of sideline hydration. It's a machine, and it needs to work as one, and who is in charge of this machine? The Quarterback! So, of course the QB is responsible for flailing CB's, missed tackles, fumbled snaps, blown blocks, sacks, touchbacks, blocked punts, underproductive bees, global warming, and burnt toast. Obviously.
  5. Make my own pesto and alfredo... make my own red too, but really like using Pomi marimara as a base as well, if not more. 6 in 1 ground tomatoes are fantastic as well... and we're slowly going through some pesto from Cinque Terra.
  6. Sorry if I came off harsh at ya- not my intent. I have no clue what his rankings are, but I'd put us around the Bengals, ahead of SD and Washington
  7. Didn't leonard Smith retire some 20+ years ago. Come to think of it, we were a better team with the Smiths than we have been with the Williamseses.
  8. I'd rather take a chance on an unknown/undrafted. To his credit, he was one of the more watchable parts of the incredibly awful Raiders teams. A true step up from Langston Walker!
  9. honest to the point of recklessness self-centered, to the extreme I miss that cat https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xCgZxrf8nrU
  10. I always switch off Cats in the Cradle... just can't take it haha- though I did spend the last week with my folks and had a great time with my pop. ) Yesterday will always kill me, though. I don't even care much about the Beatles... except 'Hey, Bulldog' ... thought that was a great song, but I'm more of a back catalog Who fan/ Kinks and others from that era But anyway, I guess this is my cathartic post on 'Yesterday'... My family moved to California a couple years before I was born. When I was a teenager, I got to spend a summer with my east coast relatives.... and, Oh My, did it Rock!!! In the pre-dawn morning, as I was getting my bags together to leave for the airport, and my return flight to LAX, 'Yesterday' came on the alarm clock radio as I was saying goodbye to my cousins and my aunt. My uncle took me to the airport. Not that THAT song wasn't tough enough, on its own, to say goodbye to a world and family that I loved, but it also turned out to be the last song I can ever associate with my cousin Molly, whom I never saw alive again. She was later shot by her cop ex-fiance when she went to his house to return his engagement ring. Long story involving inbred redneck cover-ups- her murder happened in South Carolina, and I will forever despise everything about that state, and may it rot in hell. That's my overarching feeling, though I have moved on a bit. South Carolina mustard/vinegar BBQ blows the snot out of all that sticky-sweet crap the rest of our poor, misguided nation calls 'Bold', and I dig Colbert.
  11. Dear gad he was bad enough in college to have called it a deal. but we drafted him anyway
  12. Seemingly fair enough, but while the Metrpolitan logo designers could not even understand the concept of the stitching on a baseball, the Dodgers logo isn't really a ball at all- more like Star-Shine flying over your ever-appreciating of the glory of it all self. Btw, how many inches of thread in a baseball? 88... and what happened in '88- as a sub-par historian might be wont to ask... Kirk Gibson and the Dodgers happened in '88- that's what happened in '88! Call ME unintellibuntal!
  13. Clay isn't a tradionally huge TE, so why not use a true blocking TE type to spring 1, 2, or even 3 players off either end of the line?
  14. So... knowing the roster is a new benchmark for sports writers. No matter what the hell happens, this is not a bottom 4 team. Ugggh
  15. No offense, Mr. Robot, but any team that has to use the actual ball in the logo to identify which sport they play clearly has a history of major poopie stains on sidewalks
  16. No clue. All I can think of is Bills fans are hardcore enough to generate clicks, so writers write articles to piss us off enough to generate clicks. I think we all know this team is middle-of-the-pack until they somehow prove otherwise. Mediocre writers sucking the teat until they find some other outlet for their teat sucking mediocrity
  17. 29. Way too many decent pieces on this team to be put in with the Jamarcus Russel Raiders. Tyrod alone is worth 5+ wins. Not saying he's a godsend, just that alone he'll have a few games good enough for the rest of the team to coast, and he'll put a couple on his own back. 29 is bizzaroland... but somebody needs to pay somebody to have things to get looked at in this day and age. Business Journalism in 2017
  18. Yeah... not really, 'Kean', the article scribbler, considers Romanowski a Bronco, and thinks the Raiders won a Super Bowl once.
  19. No offense, but, wouldn't you take either one of their equivalents at QB? Looks kinda like snubbing Marino because you want Unitas.
  20. As long as it matters, each play is 100% for me. My poor, over-taxed melon is working out every possibility on every snap... until the fatal elimination time comes around. Aaaand... That's why I drink on Sunday mornings.
  21. Jeezus... if he's been listening to this dilmo of a lawyer he has, I hope the board takes some leniency. The lawyer is downright awful
  22. In an aside story, I owe OJ a huge thanks for being mid Bronco-chase on the day I met my college girlfriend's parents for the first time... talk about ice-breakers!
