  1. I've looked from pillar to post on the DTV site for this with no luck. Do you have a link?
  2. Saw the 40th anniversary "Final Cut" last week in Imax. Still a great movie, but the French plantation scene serves no purpose.
  3. McKelvin will be remembered forever for a game-turning fumble and Clay had a few good games but belongs no where near a list of top 100 Bills of all time. Hell's bells, if you need a TE to help balance the list, I'd put Paul Seymour on it before him. Agree with others that Frank Reich could fit somewhere on here and Flutie, like him or not, was the QB on two playoff teams and deserves to be a bit higher. Joe D at five? Gilmore overrated and confused about Ruben Brown at 16...good guard but Reggie McKenzie I think was better.
  4. https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2019/08/15/aaron-rodgers-has-an-idea-make-packers-fans-louder-cheaper-beer/ Bills among most expensive last year: https://www.statista.com/statistics/240015/price-of-a-beer-in-the-national-football-league-by-team/
  5. You're an aristocrat...not easy for working class slobs like me.
  6. I have a Chandler one as well, 1979 vintage.
  7. Friend of mine had a Jart go through his hand...worst part is, he can no longer eat M&Ms.
  8. My $60/month promo ends next week. I'm fully expecting them to NOT renew it and therefore I'm prepared to walk. A $15 promo with no ST, sees my bill rise $45/month. Completely unacceptable.
  9. I think the Bird and the Beard are the best CBS crew.
  10. Posted this yesterday on Off The Wall: I've had DTV for 19 years...at the end of this month, it's adios.
  11. No props for "The Legend of Billy the Kid?"
  12. Just to check in with DTV via an online chat, I asked if any ST promos were available and here was the exchange: Shane: Thanks for your patience. Upon checking, unfortunately all the special offers for the NFL Sunday Ticket are no longer available. Me: When were they available? Shane: Special offers are changing monthly and they are for a limited time. You can definitely check our website at&t.com for options. What a load of crap. So it's luck of the draw when you check in for promos. The time to check could have been yesterday, a week ago or even an hour ago.
  13. September 30, 1973, first regular season game at Rich. Took a bus with our church men's club in Rochester. They didn't quite have the traffic patterns worked out, so we arrived middle of first quarter. It was a 9-7 Bills win, on three John Leypoldt field goals. Jets scored a late TD in the 4th to make it close. Play I most remember: We were in the upper endzone, tunnel end, and OJ juked about three Jets out of their shorts on his way to 123 yards. With the endzone view, it was truly poetry in motion. Box: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/197309300buf.htm NFL Films highlights:
  14. It's important. It's a division game. Why the question?
  15. This is exactly the situation. In the NY metro area ONLY, you'll see Bills-Colts on NFLN. This is standard practice for NFLN, MLBN, NHLN, etc.
  16. Hopefully streaming on a per game basis...i.e. $10.99 for just the Bills game.
  17. Moulds had a monster game...established himself as the heir apparent to Reed.
  18. Especially ESPN and the RSNs. I pay almost $9/month for our RSNs (MASN for O's and Nats; Comcast Sportsnet Washington for Caps, Wiz) and hardly ever watch. I'll turn MASN on a couple of times a week, max, to catch an inning or two of a ballgame, but that's about it.
  19. And you can be sure they're holding some seats back for potential season ticket buyers. When those seats open up after the first preseason game, the availability will be much greater. The season ticket numbers when Rex came were at an all-time high if I recall correctly. Fans bought into Rex but is it possible they haven't bought into McBean or this season's draft/FA additions?
  20. DTV has become a corporate behemoth, like Comcast, and is now living in the cable world where channel/provider feuds are commonplace. I first got DTV in 2000 and there never seemed to be an issue like what some are experiencing with their local networks. Fortunately, here in the DC area, so far, we've been sparred the re-transmission issue. I'm throwing in the towel with DTV when my $60/month credit ends next month. Barring a miracle, I'll be cancelling, but as many have reported, AT&T don't care. They would rather have a collection of subscribers paying full boat, than a patchwork quilt of customers getting promotions, discounts, etc. So, if that's their wish, so be it.
  21. I would also like to take the opportunity for folks to take a gander at Ticketmaster and the relatively surprising number of tickets that are still available for the Bills home opener... https://www1.ticketmaster.com/event/0000566BD82F7534?dma_id=409&brand=bills&artistid=805905&landing=s&camefrom=CFC_BILLS_BBC_PIP
  22. I'm pretty sure at this point I'm going with YouTube TV and getting Sling w/NFLN and RedZone for the football season.
  23. I was on Ticketmaster last week and was surprised at the amount of seats still available for the opener.
