Penix officially replaces Kirk Cousins in ATL

Or let them go to bed earlier. Like most things in life, its all about how you frame it -
Will Miami start taking calls on Hill?
Captain Hindsight replied to RoscoeParrish's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yup. To prevent that actual scenario. Last time I can remember this happening is when the Broncos were moving on from Orton and the Bears needed a QB but the Chiefs claimed him off waivers But its a moot point. The dolphins are not cutting Hill this season -

Not all season tho. He had multiple great games this year including a 500 yard 4TD day in October. I stand by the fact it was a poor use of resources. If they had any intention of getting a 1st round QB (and 6 went in the first 12 picks) they should have signed a lesser FA to hold the seat until the new guy was ready -

I think they got cute and tried to do what the Packers do with Rodgers and Love. If Penix works out, its all good. If he doesnt and they choose a bust at 8 instead of Bowers or Oduze for their very shiny new QB.... Morris will be looking for a new job very soon Atlanta couldn't decide if they wanted to compete this year or build for the future. Its why they came down to BB and Morris at HC and then signed Cousins and drafted Penix. Its why you saw the owner and GM having a very intense convo after the Penix pick was announced. I like Penix, I think he could be Tua and maybe even a better version. Atlanta has a great roster, but if this doesnt work, it was an extremely poor use of resources on a team that could have won an otherwise, pretty mediocre at best division -

Have you seen Wentz play lately? He got Frank Reich fired the first time and then Ton Rivera. I’m sure he look better with Reid, but the WRs he’s playing with are arguably the worst of his career. Mahomes has not played well this year and he is a huge upgrade over Wentz

It reminds me of NE. It can be cold sometimes, but ***** they always had guys that could make plays

Onside Kick Wasn’t as Crazy as You Think
Captain Hindsight replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
I thought it was the right call. I love Cambells aggressiveness. I think it suits a town like Detroit and the team in general. If they had recovered that kick, he would have been lauded a genius -

Thats a good bet

He was always kind of an ass but there were times he was a very good WR in the league. I'm not all surprised he was a late season cut on a team that still has playoff hopes

Take a look at the teams without Franchise QBs or developing ones Giants, Browns, Saints, Jets, Raiders. All those teams are going to win anywhere from 3-7 games in a given year. Bills fans should know better than most the difference a franchise QB makes
