  1. We really need to bring back the glory years of 2014
  2. Because we are usually up by 20+ when he comes in. Saw Mitch has -11 yards rushing this year. Reggie Bush numbers
  3. Sure, but that was 22 years ago. Is he still capable of doing that? They had a losing season after they won the Super Bowl He was out of football for 10 years and then lead a mediocre team for 3.5 years. Thats his most recent example, and probably a better indicator of who he is as a coach. He has a .511 all time coaching record https://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/GrudJo0.htm
  4. Woody isn't the ambassador this time around. Trump picked someone else. As for Vrabel, I think he is a good coach. I'd worry about him more in NE than NY tho. Jets are beyond dysfunctional
  5. Oh the guy that took the raiders from 6-10 team to 8-8 team after 3 years? The guy that drafted Clein Ferral number 4 overall. Gruden is the most overrated coach in NFL history. He has parlayed that into legendary status for winning a super bowl in 2002 with Tony Dungy's roster Him going to the Jets, with that media market would be hilarious. The only hire that might be funnier is if they hired Rex again
  6. Most people here are acting like only Trubisky and Frank Gore are going to be playing in this game. They still need to field a roster. You are going to see more starters than you expect. This may be a preseason strategy game, but it wont be preseason roster game
  7. Oh please, Josh is a big boy. He will be fine
  8. Last year after the chiefs game, I walked to car in silence and finally my wife grabbed my hand and asked if I was ok. I said "No, this is my thing, this is my hobby and just like that its over."
  9. I doubt it. Let Mitch play the whole game. If he gets hurt, have Josh hand off a bunch of times
  10. I have it on extremely trustworthy information that McDermott is more likely to die in his office than be fired. Pegula loves him
  11. Yup. And the other side of it is, do they want to use a call up on Mike white? Have Josh hand off a few times and be ready to take a few knees if Mitch cant finish the game. I'd rather use the call up on a guy who is banged up
  12. Yup From Wikipedia. "Following the team's 7–9 finish the previous season, their first losing record since 2000, the Patriots spent a record $163 million in guaranteed money to sign new free agent acquisitions. 11 free agents were added to the roster on March 19, with the largest contracts awarded to linebacker Matthew Judon, tight ends Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith, cornerback Jalen Mills, and wide receiver Nelson Agholor. In the 2021 NFL draft, New England selected quarterback Mac Jones 15th overall, marking the first time the Patriots drafted a first-round quarterback since Drew Bledsoe in 1993" They made the playoffs, got embarrassed and haven't recovered since. Tell me who is buying the groceries and doing the cooking and I'll tell you if I'm worried Same thing that happened with the Bears this year. They got a loaded roster, a shiny new QB, a bunch of big name players and a lame duck coach. Until Mayo shows himself to be up for the job, NE is irrelevant
  13. The Patriots problem right now is coaching. Mayo just flat out isn't ready for the spotlight. Be real, are we really concerned about the genius Alex Van Pelt running a high powered offense? Drake Maye has some talent, but I don't expect NE to be a hot bed for talent to come there
  14. You can still play to win. God forbid something happens to Josh in the playoffs, it would be good to have Trubisky have some live reps before the post season.
  15. Neither is good. Just get through the game
  16. Rivera wouldn't be the worst hire, but a pretty uninspiring one. It would be like when the Bears hired John Fox. Yeah he's a good coach and is steady, but what exactly are you building? Rivera would have made sense this year. Needed a leader who could manage lots of different personalities in a win now year
  17. Yeah I like Nix, but I think Denver overachieved this year Which is exactly why I don't want that game. The Bills dont always win those games
  18. Anybody but the bengals
  19. Josh threw an INT on the first play I think. Then we smoked them. That was fun at least
  20. He played that last drive horribly. They were in range for a 57 yards FG I think and threw the ball 3 straight times, long passes and not high percentage throws. If he completes two 4 yard passes there, they are likely able to at least tie it. He’s talented, but his game awareness is poor right now. You would think after the Detroit game, that would be a point of emphasis. I’m not sure if that’s coaching or Caleb. Either way, it’s concerning
  21. Just that hes a whiny B word Happy to help extend the misery
