It’s stupid to expect players to hold back their emotions. If a defender has been dogging you all game and talking smack, you have the right to get excited when you make a big play. Sure, some players cross the line, but it’s all part of sports. Let them settle it on the field. If it boils over like the Lawson/Fournette episode, then deal with it. Are they going to start giving trophies to everyone after the games?

RB Jarrett Patterson made the WFT roster, QB turned TE Tyree Jackson made the Eagles roster. Malcolm Koonce on the Raiders as no surprise, being a 3rd round pick. TE Mason Schreck, WRs Anthony Johnson and Antonio Nunn were released.

I agree that it’s not as good as in the past. Even last year with the double LA teams and how they handled COVID was more interesting. I also noticed the drama of the player cuts was missing but maybe they’re waiting for the last cutdown.

That dude has become one of my favorite players. He hauls a$$ running down field on kickoffs. I was just reading in Bills Digest that he’s a favorite of McDermott. He said he’s great in the locker room. Sean noticed a difference when he was out. I don’t think he’s going anywhere, unless maybe the Packers offer us Aaron Jones or Jaire Alexander.

I agree, but the players cut at these first 2 cut downs are probably your 81st thru 90th ranked players, or close to it. Teams are not likely to cut guys that are on the bubble for making the team until the last cut.

Duke has dropped at least 3 passes this preseason. I’d be surprised if he remains.
