I think it would take an offer the Niners couldn’t refuse and Jerry might be one of the few that would do it. However, I believe the Niners kept Jimmy G around because they aren’t sure Trey Lance is ready to lead a title contender. The conditions in Chicago were terrible but he didn’t look that great.

Why do some still want OBJ? There was just talk about this deal preventing distraction and you want to bring in a major “Me” guy? Who do you want to sit to give OBJ snaps? By the time he’s healthy enuff to play, the season and touches should be established. You want to bring in that fool to demand snaps and touches?

For many years we’d see opponents run plays that would completely fool the Bills’ defense while our offense struggled to score. The last few years it’s been great to see Bills’ plays work where receivers are wide open.

I had just said that Josh was carving up the Rams defense like we saw Brady do to the Bills so many times, and then Tirico says the same thing. Then he was changing plays and telling teammates were to go and I said “Now he looks like Manning” and then Collinsworth says the same. So, Josh attacks a defense like Brady, controls the offense like Manning, makes throws on the run like Mahomes, and runs with ball like Cam Newton/Randall Cunningham. He’s also improved so much on his deep ball. Who does he resemble with that? Rodgers?

Shakir has looked so confident and natural fielding punts. Of course I don’t remember much wind for the preseason games. Hopefully he’ll look the same in December.

Hopefully this is the biggest distraction this team has to deal with this season. Cut him and it’s over. So, please stay away from OBJ.

For a team that last season averaged 3 punts per game, I still don’t know why they felt the need to use a draft pick on one to begin with. I guess when your roster is this stacked, you can do some tweaking. Second, hindsight is 20/20, but even without the Ariaza issue, I would’ve kept Haack around for this last game to avoid having to use Ariaza. (I guess the plan could’ve been to use Barkley all along.) Sometimes they’re too nice in giving players the chance to pursue other opportunities.

Well. It will be interesting to see how Araiza does on coffin corner attempts and on windy days. I’ll say one thing, if you’re offense is stuck deep in their own end, it’ll be great to have a guy with that leg, even if he does kick in into the opposite end zone.

They also traded a 5th to Oakland in that 2019 draft to move up two spots to draft him, so they basically got that 5th back.

He was also so quick after his reception.

I was so glad when he retired but unfortunately it was short lived. Then he signs this mega contract with FOX. Ugh!
