  1. Yeah, that's great. Belechick has picked up Bills cuts before prior to their playing each other just to get info (Ex:Jonathan Smith) only to cut them after the game.
  2. I read also that Murphy returned to practice but he's 3 weeks away from being cleared to play?? So you have a low-round rookie in Bell as your lone backup OT going into the opener?? Furthermore, they kept only 6 LBs, including a recently converted Corto, with 2 of them (DiGiorgio & Corto) missing practice on Sunday and Jauron saying they SHOULD be available for next Sunday?? Are they just holding them out as long as they can as prep for the opener??
  3. Weird that the lone Off Lineman is someone brought in recently due to injuries. I guess he impressed or none of the others (like Gaddis) are eligible for PS.
  4. Dude probably should've stuck with baseball. I guess he could give it another try since he's only 28.
  5. No way would it be Hamdan. With the injury history of Edwards & Losman, this is one team that needs to carry 3 QBs.
  6. Do you mean once they practice in camp?? Carnell (Cadillac) Williams reported to Tampa Bay's camp but wasn't able to practice/play so he went on PUP. He was working out pulling a weighted sled.
  7. I'm sure his friend Gary laughed even more when he saw that. I can't believe I actually watched the whole thing. Showed some creativity but too long.
  8. But I don't get why they just didn't do it now and keep another player like TE Tim Massaquoi. Who would've thought letting Michael Gaines leave would've mattered??
  9. I think this leaves some questionable position scenarios. Only 5 linebackers?? That's a position usually used to support special teams and I thought Costanzo was a standout. Nine offensive linemen that include a rookie in Bell & an injured Matt Murphy?? Hopefully this is a sign that Peters is ready to report. Six safeties?? I guess Corto is being considered a LB, although you'd think Wendling would be consdired a better candidate as he's lsited as 1 inch taller & 14 lbs heavier. He also has shown hard hitting. Didn't we just go thru a failed experiment of Coy Wire converting to LB??
  10. I'd go with McKelvin & Parrish, and maybe give McGee an occasional chance. A nice situation to have with 3 players who are threats.
  11. What do you mean he's shot?? He's just one season removed from a 1300+ yard, 12 TD season and he's only 28.
  12. The Buffalo area skools must have some of the best English teechers. I've never scene a sight where their are so many comments abowt posters' tiping, spelling and grammer errors.
  13. If you've ben a Bills fan for at least a few years, you know they have been one of the worst teams as far as announcing cuts. The deadline may be 6 PM EST but that doesn't mean they'll be made public then.
  14. Remember the number of times the Bills ran the ball or took a knee before the half when there was plenty of time left to try & mount a drive. This was either due to not wanting to put pressure on Edwards and/or lack of confidence in the overall offense.
  15. You been watching Arliss reruns on ESPN Classic?? Sounds like the character Mike Armstrong.
  16. Maybe he's waiting for training camp to break??
  17. The Miami game being played in Toronto still pisses me off. Having a home game at RWS vs Miami in December has usually just about guaranteed a win. Now it's going to be in a dome??
  18. So this a recent fee?? I don't recall Irsay and his Colts, the Browns to Baltimore and Al Davis's Raiders to LA & then back again having to pay big fees. Of course Irsay did it in the middle of the night.
  19. George Wilson has looked good covering kicks and he hasn't been a gunner.
  20. Yeah, this cut schedule is whack. Didn't it used to be more gradual, like 1st down to say 75 after 2nd game, then down to like 65 after the 3rd game and then final roster after 4th game?? So they now cut 5 after 3rd game but have to cut the remainder 4 days later?? It does give the teams longer to evaluate players I guess.
  21. They even think he could start next to Patrick Willis.
  22. I doubt it. They may try & get him some snaps in their last game, if he's ready.
  23. May also want to wait to see how he does this year in cold-weather games. Might help if they practiced in the stuff rather than in the heated confines of the Field House. Every once in awhile I am reminded how special Jim Kelly was. He had such a strong arm, it didn't matter if the wind was 50 MPH in his face or a crosswind or whatever. He was still effective. Growing up in Pennsylvania helped of course. I questioned the drafting of another California kid as QB who rarely, if ever, had to play in wintery weather. Hopefully he can adapt.
  24. One word: Winter Make it 2 words - add Snow & lots of it. Growing up in Buffalo, I found myself feeling a little depressed when November rolled around. I could never live in that weather again.
