If you weren't around for the 1971 season, that was just about rock bottom.
1-13 record and shut out 4 times. 1984 & 1985 seasons were also pretty bad, both with 2-14 records.
Like everyone else, I knew the Bills needed an upgrade at QB.
Will be interesting, though, what is said here when Fitz's replacements tally like 12 TD passes next season.
I still don't understand why Gailey never played Kirk Morrison. Perhaps he's lost a step but just back in 2009 he had 133 tackles for the Raiders. His productivity dropped a little in 2010 with Jacksonville (89 tackles)but to not play him at all in 2 years? He's always been a good pass defender too. He had 4 INTs and 10 passess defensed in 2007. He just turned 31 so he's not that old.
Are you forgetting that the Washington & Oregon teams are also in the Pac 12, as is now Colorado and Utah? One might want to see how he did in road games vs those teams.
I joined Direct TV when NFL Ticket first came available with them. If NFL Ticket became non-exclusive, I would at least look at the alternatives to DT.
If KC completes trade for Alex Smith, they won't be drafting a QB. In fact, even if trade didn't go thru, I can't see them using 1st pick on any of these QBs. It would possibly benefit the Bills more if Arizona traded for A. Smith.
As has been discussed before, for purposes of the salary for a franchise tag, offensive linemen are all grouped together. Levitre does not deserve to be paid the average of the top 5 OTs. Giving him the franchise tag would be a mistake!
