  1. Yahoo Sports did a Tale of the Tape of Bradford vs Clausen with good details. The Cons for Clausen lead me to not want the Bills to draft him. He struggles on deep throws, putting too much air under the ball, which forced his receivers to have to wait or come back to the ball. He is supposed to be a good fit for a West Coast offense, which we have not heard as being a Gailey type offense. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Apc8...vsclausen040510
  2. Levi Brown & Troy played Central Michigan, with LeFevour, in the GMAC Bowl. Both QBs had outstanding stats in a 44-41 2OT game. http://www.cmuchippewas.com/ViewArticle.db...TCLID=204865795
  3. You consider "Humdinger" a stud at center?? I still think they need a center. They should consider Wood there, especially if he is slow to recover from his injury. He'd have less running around to do.
  4. That's their decision. Their owner and new head coach are banking on getting success with the aging Pro Bowl QB. If the Bills had Campbell, would you have been asking for McNabb??
  5. Take a look at last season's stats: Passing Sacked Fumbles G QBRat Comp Att Pct Yds Y/G Y/A TD Int Sack YdsL Fum FumL McNabb 14 92.9 267 443 60.3 3553 253.8 8.0 22 10 35 264 10 3 Campbell 16 86.4 327 507 64.5 3618 226.1 7.1 20 15 43 285 11 3 Quite similar. And, as far as lack of confidence in Campbell "winning big", remember that McNabb played in 4 NFC Championship games and won only one. Campbell is younger by 5 years and you may possibly get him for a 4th, while it took a 2nd to get McNabb.
  6. Campbell's 2009 stats: Passing Rushing Sacked Fumbles G QBRat Comp Att Pct Yds Y/G Y/A TD Int Rush Yds Y/G Avg TD Sack YdsL Fum FumL 16 86.4 327 507 64.5 3618 226.1 7.1 20 15 46 236 14.8 5.1 1 43 285 11 3 A lot better than what the Bills have had for the past 3 seasons
  7. Remember Holmgren says he doesn't like him. Whether that's true or just blowin' smoke, only he knows.
  8. Warner made it to the Super Bowl with a mediocre running game and an O-line anchored by LT (Gag!!) Mike Gandy.
  9. I didn't like when Peters held out a couple years ago with no communication. What player was it that said he was in contact with Peters but felt the situation was between Peters & the team? I thought that was BS and the "leaders" of the team should've told him to get his butt in camp. So, he ends up reporting after the season started and prety much had a wasted season.
  10. I remember several times where a DT just pushed him back in the pocket. Should at least be able to hold his ground for a couple secs.
  11. WIth that size & speed I wonder what his issues are. Likely his smarts and/or running routes.
  12. If the Bills take Tebow at #9, me & my friends watching the draft, will have the same dumbfounded look that we did with the selections of Whitner & Maybin.
  13. He's considered a young up-and-coming OT stud & the Ravens only tendered him for a 1st. They have Oher so they don't really need Gaither. I'd try & deal next year's #1. Then, they don't have to worry about a run on OTs in this draft and can focus on the best player available, whether that's McLain or Dan Williams, etc.
  14. That's the reaction when Bulaga is still there at the Bills' pick. Buulaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaga !!
  15. I agree. They went 6-10 with injuries & inexperience resulting in horrible O-line play. Also there were a couple of close late losses & pathetic coaching. How can people say 2-14 next season??
  16. Better value then they received for guys like McGahee & Ko Simpson.
  17. Yep, Oher was the guy to take. They even made a movie about him. LOL!!
  18. How can Gailey & company really make an evaluation on the Bills' players from this past season without seeing them in practice?? Game film helps but there were too many factors last year influencing perrformance. For instance, Edwards probably looks horrible in most of the game film but after he's had DTs push the center or guard into his face a few times, he started getting rid of the ball quick. On the other hand, seeing him dump off to the RBs could be interpreted as he checked the field and found nobody open so he checked down when in reality he seemed afraid to throw the ball downfield. Listing all of these DEs as outside linebackers when they haven't played the position is making a big assumption that they can handle it. My guess is that one of Maybin & Chris Ellis may be able to make the transition but it seems less likely for Schobel & Kelsay. Hopefully someone will surprise them/us.
  19. Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports has also posted an article about the Bills & McNabb. Charles Robinson Yahoo Article
  20. Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports has an article on this also.
  21. So the 2 recent highly-regarded OTs taken at the top of the draft in Joe Thomas & Jake Long are 1,2. Get what you pay for. Jared Gaither at #6. Agree with others who said the Bills should make him an offer, even if he is a restricted free agent. I'd rather give up the #9 pick for him rather than take a chance on someone who's never played in the NFL & has question marks like Anthoiny Davis. Cornell Green at 48?? And how much did they pay that stiff?
  22. Should have signed Kitna instead of Fitz last offseason. Might have won a couple more games.
  23. I know a pass rush is more than sacks AND their passing yards allowed number is low because most Bills' opponents ran successfully against, but they did have 32 sacks, which put them at about the mid point of the league. They also allowed the 2nd fewest yards per game. Therefore, along with this talk of Spiller, I don't see why they should not be trying to fill their biggest need (OL) in the 1st round.
