  1. Yes, outside of this year they always enshrine six. I liked when Baseball in 2013 didn’t induct anybody. If there’s nobody worthwhile they shouldn’t go looking for someone just to induct.
  2. I was surprised at James also but he is 13th All-Time in rushing yards with 12,246.
  3. Living away from Buffalo, I called in sick after each of the Bills Super Bowls. I didn’t want to deal with people. No, I can’t hate a team like the Patriots all season and then root for them in the SB.
  4. l agree on the kickoffs. There’s nothing more exciting as the crowd noise builds for the opening kickoff. Of course, these days for the NFL, the noise quickly dies down when the ball is kicked out of the end zone.
  5. I’ve watched them all at least a couple times. SB 26 & 27 are just too tough to watch. SB 25 is frustrating to watch when you know the Bills were the better team but the Giants seemed to make all the clutch plays. I still don’t know how Hostetler held onto the ball on that safety. SB 28 was difficult to see a halftime lead lost on the Thurman fumble that deflated the whole team.
  6. Yeah, I recorded the first few but haven’t watched yet (NHL AllStar Weekend!).
  7. Green Bay and KC for repeat of SB 1
  8. Heard the plan is the same for this year. It’s colder here in Sacramento than Buffalo right now. I’d like to move south but wife doesn’t
  9. Why did the D-Line coach leave an NFL job with the Bills to go back to Virginia Tech for the same position?
  10. Yes, and one thing I was surprised to see in every game of his I watched, were plays where, to avoid a sack, he would just toss the ball in the air while in a defender’s grasp. They looked like plays a rookie would make. It was amazing he wasn’t intercepted more.
  11. Crying? There’s no crying in football!
  12. I can see it now on marker boards at their facility: Ruhle’s Rules
  13. Yes, that was so bizarre that Brady Quinn, Weeden and Manuel were all the 22nd pick.
  14. Obviously the play called for the other receivers to go deep
  15. The ref in the end zone didn’t think the play was dead as he backed away from the ball when the returner tossed it to him.
  16. I went through the same thing with people about the Zay Jones miss in the Carolina game a couple years ago. It was a very difficult catch but many people were calling it a drop. May not worth the time trying to convince them.
  17. Brees and New Orleans. Second would be Rodgers and Green Bay. AFC I guess KC. Titans will be tough the way Henry is running. I play DFS and thought about picking Henry but I figured Bellycheck always focuses to stop the opponent’s strength. 200+ yards? Man!
  18. I have felt this way many times in the 50 years I’ve been following this team. It’s tough to not go all in on rooting for a team, but it might be healthier.
  19. Yeah, and the Titans going for 2 made no sense. The pick six made it a 7 pt game. Kick the extra point and it’s 8. If New England miraculously returned the kickoff for a score, they would’ve just had to kick the XP to tie. If Tenn kicked their extra pt, the Pats would’ve had to go for 2. Sure, Tennessee making the 2 pts would’ve made it a 9 point lead and game over but there were only 10 secs left. To me, that was a bad decision. The Tenn DB made a bad, selfish decision to score that pick six. If he just fell down, the Titans would’ve just had one kneel down and game was over. Instead they had to kickoff. It was fun to see the Pats screw up the multi-laterals quickly. Since Edelman was a QB, I thought he’d throw it. After he lateraled it to a teammate, that guy threw it 10+ yards back towards the end zone.
  20. Yeah, I noticed that too.
  21. Yeah, he has often mentioned that as a head coach he’s taken some from Reid and some from Rivera. Unfortunately the being conservative comes from Rivera. Rivera’s “Riverboat Ron” nickname is a joke on his reluctance to gamble.
  22. I rarely do. Play a defense poor against the run and they come out throwing. Play a defense poor against the pass and they come out running. Playing against an immobile QB and they only rush 4 and don’t phase him. I do have to give due credit for finally running that screen pass to Singletary late that got 30+ yards. Where’s that been all season? He might’ve scored if Feliciano would’ve blocked someone.
  23. Yeah, how did neither Josh or Morse recognize that nobody was there to block him? Also, empty backfield again.
  24. They gave up too many 3rd and longs all game.
