whew... and this is what you came up with?

A couple of Super Bowl rings???? Win Super Bowls and you run with the big dogs. Doesn't get much simpler than that... does it?

When the Bills fail to hit the 40,000 season tix level, mainly because they're fielding a $chitty product on the field, Russ will whip up new batch of koolaid in order to get to that 50K plus level. If it ain't signing a washed up POS (ie, Culpepper, Garcia, Holt, Pace) it will be new unis in hopes it'll give tix a jump start.

Off Topic - Syracuse
Dr. Trooth replied to Kettle Creek Football's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
bottom line. this team played only 7. that's a lot of minutes for 7 guys to play, with a big east schedule and an rpi of 5. when ao got hurt, that increased the minutes of the other 6, and changed their roles (rautins was playing on the blocks in the zone), even though Riley gave them a decent 12 minutes. Even with ao they were beginning to wear down at seasons end. without him they were gassed and when a team like butler came out and attacked them defensively like they did, cuse was a step slower. 20+ turnovers says it all. they fought hard, but they just didn't have anything left. -
Thank for rehashin ad nauseum. We all know there is nothing exciting about this team. We get it. But, it aint like the Bills are a player or two or three from title contention. So, what would McNabb bring to this POS team? Even if the Bills head in the right direction plus sign McNabb, they're at least three full seasons from serious contention. By then McNabb will be 36-37 (depending on whether or not there is a season in 2011) and nothing left. It's better that the Bills just focus on drafting good players, playing the young guys, and finishing 5-11 with them. At least they'll have a good shot at getting a much better QB next year than there is in this draft.

McNabb to the Bills for Picks?
Dr. Trooth replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dude, why would the Eagles make that trade? Schobel has never played anything other than RDE... same position Trent Cole plays for the Eagles. They are not going to pay $5m + for a backup, let a lone a backup that is looking for concessions in order that he can go back to Texas each week and be with his family. If the Eagles want a DE, it's on the Left side. -
Coughlin and Jim Boeheim were high school hoop rivals... Coughlin at Waterloo, Boeheim at Lyons. They both end up at the Cuse... Coughlin, FB and Boheim, hoop. Boeheim was Coughlin's RA at Cuse, and both graduated in 66 in the shadow of future hall of Famers.... Flloyd Little and Dave Bing. The sun is shining again in CNY today, as both the Cuse and Cornell advance to the sweet 16.

Aaron Maybin hanging with McGahee in Miami

OK, which team is that stupid to give up even a Walmart gift card for this POS? It ain't like there's any measure of productivity there. He's a modern day Bosworth... a lot of smoke... no fire. Just cut his a$$ outright. -
Moratorium on this please

Thank you Nancy Pelosi, shouldn't you be on the phone rounding up votes in order to ram a piece of legislation down our throats that the people overwhelmingly don't want? Glad you know what's best for everyone and what we should post and what we should not. Why don't you see if you can be one of the moderators? -
Rod Woodson brings up a good point

Dude, we get it. You want the Bills to draft Bradford. Even if he were there at #9, he still ain't worth the pick. He's not a franchiser and there is not a franchise QB in this draft. The Bills already have 3 backup QBs, adding a fourth is only going to ensure thay have someone to take snaps when the other three go down with injuries. -
That ain't gonna be hard to do. They don't want to max their cap too quickly, so they're only gonna sign one A lister and one B lister this summer, unless they can miraculously move Curry. They want Durant or Melo the following summer.
-
There was never a lockout in the NFL. There was a strike. Street free agents and a few vets crossed the picket line and played. As for how they handle the draft in 2012... No one knows what they will do. But I'd have a hard time justifying not going with the same order as in 2011 draft. Nothing will have changed since they didn't play.
-
Bingo. They may draft a QB this year, but he ain't gonna be a starter for quite a while, if at all. Their strategy is to solidify both offensive and defensive fronts this year and supplement next year. And, I don't think they'll be a viable player in top tier free agents til at least 2012, if then. We all know they are going to suck this year. So, they'll be in a position to draft their QB next year with a top 5 pick.

From PFT audibles - LT v. QB

What is so new and fresh about this? So what? The problem is, there is no franchise QB in this draft!!! End of story. -
The good news is, if you are Muslim, you won't have to self flagellate during Ramadan. Being a fan of either would be sufficient self torture to count.

Another rebuilding project. RW will play the victim card and use the low season tix sales to illustrate the Bills can't survive in Buffalo. Wrong Ralph. Perhaps after a decade of abysmal football, we no longer are willing to piss our $$$ away. Put a football team on the field that we can be proud of. Give us value. We'll pay for a good product, but we won't continue to pay for the crap we've been getting for the past several years. Yeah... 2010 is a mail it in year for sure.... and 2011, if it's even played, will be too.
-
Does this mean he will play like a "man" at ILB this coming season, or will someone else beat him out?

Who the hell is Dick Levy? Marv Jauron's cousin? -
Dude! He's like 34. Didn't catch a single td last year and only 3 the year before. Why not bring back TO (37) and Andre Reed (46)??? These guys ain't gonna... 1) bring squat to the Bills (why bring in a WR when ya ain't gotta qb?) 2) teach young players schitt... especially when they only practice half the the time If you want them to teah, bring them in as volunteer coaches, or whatever.

Sal P says the Bills don't want Vick
Dr. Trooth replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Whew. GOing out o limb there, eh? Daring to be barely adequate. -
Loser in free agency? OK... so what players out there are going to make a significant impact on the Bills, and at what price??? I don't see a whole lot of low hanging fruit out there. What I see is a bunch of retreads, players that are clearly beyond the prime, and injury riddled, marginal street free agents. This year's crop of free agency is a joke. I don't blame the Bills for passing.... except, Cornell frickin Green??? WTF? why bother? He's just filling a spot until some 5th round draft pick takes it away from him in training camp.

Kelly wants the Bills to draft Tebow.
Dr. Trooth replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OK, I surrender. If he's still there in the 6th round, I say we waste the pick on him just to give the wallers a warm and fuzzy. -
Same QB's = Same Result = Wasted Year
Dr. Trooth replied to sabres...yawn's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dude. You are correct. This year is going to be a wasted year regardless. Bills are not going to win more than 6 games... if they win that many. They stiill have the issue with the QB, Oline, and now wr. Add to it a switch to the 3-4 and now they have LB and DL issues. If you're looking for the Bills to have a winning season, that ain't even a possibility until at least 2012 to get to 8-8/9-7. Don't even mention playoffs... you may not see that in your lifetime.
