  1. Good call. That entires series the Royals exposed the Mets deficiencies with the glove. Take a look at the history of teams who swept in the LCS and then had to wait a week to play in the WS. It does not bode well for the Nats.
  2. I still have nightmares if that throw home by Duda. ??‍♂️
  3. See 2015 Mets. Although the Royals weren’t loaded with pitching, they just won with just good enough pitching, timely hitting and great defense.
  4. I think Stras pots out of his contract this winter and goes for some serious cheddar after pitching the best season of his career.
  5. The Seattle Mariners now remain the only franchise to never have made a World Series appearance yet.
  6. 2019 Nats remind me of the 2015 Mets with their pitching.
  7. Absolutely agree and he has some help and weapons on his side of the ball. They also seemed to play a lot more inspired yesterday too with him behind C.
  8. Yup. Quite the outlier he was! My grandfather too although he was never at 3 packs a day but smoked and drank till he died at 95.
  9. Close to 3 packs a day smoker will do that and was a fan of adult beverages.
  10. As someone who is Binghamton born and raised and still reside here, Serling will always be known as this areas most famous resident. Many of his Twilight Zone episodes were based on his childhood days of growing up on the west side and his experiences during adolescence. My grandmothers brother went to school and graduated with Serling and spoke very highly of him. It’s not secret that his WWII experience really had a profound effect on him after he came home like many WWII vets at the time. I’ve always been fascinated with Rod Serlings life because of his ties to Binghamton and Upstate, NY. While The Twilight Zone was his most famous work, Night Gallery often gets overlooked.
  11. His Yankee and Cub takes on Twitter are absolutely the worst. His fan card should be revoked for coming across as such a bitter crumrudgeon that roots for a team with 27 rings and has not had a losing season in over 27 years. Add in the Cubs recent success and he's truly unbearable.
  12. Here in Binghamton, it's always a crapshoot if we get the Bills. I am shocked WBNG is going with Buffalo/Cincy this week over Jets/NE because I know how much networks love to put Brady on the air regardless of how bad the Jets are and this being partially Jets territory too. Not complaining though!!
  13. Cincy needs this game very badly. No way they roll over and they always play Buffalo tough no matter what the roster is.
  14. That’s not a prize at the fair though, haha.
  15. No more Tate unfortunately but valiant effort by the new guy! Very good job! and Agree on Autograph completely but it was hilarious, like a bunch of ants teaming up on a melted popsicle
  16. Saw them in Elmira last summer. Them and White Lion opened for Queensryche. No one was paying any attention to Autograph until the encore when they played this haha!
  17. What’s funny about that stretch in the Eagles schedule is that did that because they anticipated the Sillies errr I mean the Phillies making a deep October run in MLB playoffs and since their stadiums are next to each other they wanted to avoid a logistical nightmare. Phillies and their 350 million dollar baby Harper all but done and there won’t be any post season baseball in Philly haha!
  18. Not only that but not one but 2 out of the gate BOTH on the road. First time in franchise history. Amazing eh?
  19. Easily one of my personal favorite Twitter follows haha!
