Ravens at Chiefs - who do you want to have their third loss?
Rubes replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
They won't be missing the playoffs, as much as we'd like to see that. There's a part of me that would love to see us slay the dragon ourselves in the playoffs. -
You could always try bringing one of those emergency radios that you wind up to get power. I think I still have one of those somewhere.
-
Probably to save another call up for Zion, but to be honest I'm glad to have a veteran presence at DT to go along with Jones.

I don’t know, Joe Marino in his podcast has been talking about how much more we’ve been using PA this year compared with previous years, and his numbers are higher than what is shown here. There’s probably some subjectivity to deciding what plays qualify as PA and differences in how different groups call it.

Sounds to me like you’re advocating for a straight up one-for-one trade of Allen for Tua…
-
Well, one of those was John Fourcade, who threw for more than 300 yards in a freezing snowstorm.

Just saw this crazy stat...the Saints are one of only 4 teams to have a winning record at Highmark Stadium, and they have the best record of the four at 4-1 all-time. That's nuts!

I was at that game. It was *really* cold. The loss was incredibly awful to watch, especially against a dome team.

MNF Week 3 2025: Detroit at Baltimore (no Bills discussion, please)

I noticed that too, it was really noticeable. I even mentioned it to my wife. It seemed like every play in the second half that didn't go their way, Lamar had some reaction or was making some kind of face about it. Was definitely off-putting. -
There's that...I was thinking something similar last week, though. Another reason to hope the Dolphins keep McDaniel around another year.
-
Well that didn't age well... 😄

Didn’t they play in the playoffs last year?

I mean, McDermott himself was calling out Groot after the game. Should we all tell him to chill? It was tough to watch in the moment, and the pass rush and 3rd down defense did stink, but it’s hard to really argue with holding that offense to 21 points and low total yardage with 4 three-and-outs and a turnover. I mean, if the Bills D can do that consistently, we’ll beat most teams with the offense we have.

Kinda crazy how we played such a conservative offense yet we scored 31 and left probably at least 7 more on the field. They were a couple bad play calls from busting that game wide open in the first half. They'll open things up when it’s time.

That guy for the Dolphins that gave us fits was kind of like that. He would have looked great in a Bills uni. EDIT: Ollie Gordon II...rookie, 6'1, 225lbs.

While I agree with you, I also haven't heard anyone describe what happened in the second half. We were much less successful running the ball...I figured it was because they were loading the box more, but if that's the case, where were the openings in the defense? I'm also a little bit (only a little bit) concerned about our offensive line's pass blocking. I think this is one of the best OLs in the league, but I think at least part of the problem, even if it's a small part, is that they're not giving Josh the time for those intermediate and long routes to develop. He was under some pressure in that game.

Indications Waddle will probably play tonight... NFL news roundup: Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle to test shoulder ahead of Bills game -
Nice view there. Torrence absolutely manhandled his guy, driving him way outside. Thing of beauty.

Definitely seemed to me he was going for an Angry Runs sceptre.

I hope so. I get the sense that Brady loves having 3 versatile TEs (plus Gilliam), and I think we’ll start seeing some real creativity with these guys as the season goes on. I think it gives us a lot of ways to really effectively attack a defense.
