  1. Yep, just came here to say the same thing. How they ended up with Epenesa, Jefferson, and Solomon on the field at the same time is beyond me. They also had Dorian Williams as a spy of sorts, not rushing. But it was a three man rush, and none of the three were really trying to get after him, except eventually for Jefferson, who like you said just basically took himself out of the play. Lamar was at his best in that game when we didn't pressure him. Strange to me that they used a package and a strategy at that point in the game that was basically designed to let him make camp in the pocket and spend the evening finding his target.
  2. Yep...that's why I have this belief (hope?) that Beane uses that extra draft capital this year to move up and select a difference-maker for the defense. Let's hope...
  3. We need a WR who has elite speed, runs perfect routes, and is an excellent blocker so we can keep him on the field in all situations and is a threat at all times. Anyone? Bueller?
  4. True, but we also don't exactly have a fearsome pass rush (see: Jackson, Lamar). This game, like most playoff games, is going to come down to the trenches on both sides. We run the ball well, we'll do well. We stop the run and rush the passer well, we'll do well. We do both, we'll win.
  5. Concerns me too. I have a feeling whoever we have out there at safety is going to be tested early and often by Worthy and Hollywood Brown.
  6. No idea what's going on in Western NY, but this seems less than ideal.
  7. McDermott and Babich have definitely been making lemonade from lemons this year, and I give them big credit for helping us get this far. But let's not delude ourselves: if we're in a tight game with KC and they need a score to win, we ain't stopping them. That's why McD went for it on 4th down last time, he knew we needed to score to give us a bigger cushion.
  8. Brown is just blasting people and tossing them around. Wonder how many still hate the extension.
  9. Holy crap, that was the last road playoff victory?? That was a lifetime ago. I remember watching that game in my old girlfriend's house. We got engaged, broke it off later, then I graduated medical school, met and married my wife, had an entire career, been married for 23 years, and now I'm getting ready to retire. WTF?
  10. Thanks for posting that...I saw one of those videos today and had the same reaction...hadn't seen any of those before, and I was like, is this really the official Buffalo Bills social media team? WTF did I just watch? Was it made for people who are super high or something? But yeah, I'm old as *****.
  11. All 4 winners combined had 1 turnover total.
  12. Yup. All 4 winners turned the ball over 0 times total. All 4 losers turned the ball over 11 times in total. EDIT: there was no interception by KC last game, not sure where that came from.
  13. Joe Marino, who does an excellent podcast, said it in the week before the game: in the playoffs, more games are lost than they are won. He thought this game would probably come down to who loses the game rather than who wins it. Man, he was right. It's true.
  14. I’ll be more optimistic if Brady doesn’t do any more interviews during the week.
  15. Plus the blocked punt for a TD.
  16. Given the need to sign some key players to new contracts this offseason, I'm not sure I see the Bills going for another high-priced vet on the DL. For me, I'm wondering if this is the offseason that we see Beane go all-in for the defensive difference-maker in the draft. We need a game-changer, a Josh for the defense, and if he can get one on a rookie deal for 5 years, all the better. We have decent draft capital to move up. Could that be what he's thinking?
  17. Some might have said the opposite for that home playoff game against the Bengals. Just sayin.
  18. I can only assume that means you’re not married…
  19. EDIT: these are now sold.
  20. Now we'll know who to blame.
