Look at it this way; do you think the Bills has peaked in their ability to win football games? Given Allen’s contract now limiting our ability to sign players, I would say yes. Our FO have not shown an ability to draft adequate replacements. Now, in the regular season, we went 4-2 in our division. That’s already starting suspect. Do you think these teams will be worse next season? I don’t think the pats will be, but think the Jets and Fins will be better. The playoffs go through these teams and we had problems with Skylar freakin Thompson in the playoffs. So, no. The playoffs are definitely not a gimme next season.

This is true, we’ve been building this defense for nearly 6 years. But that in itself is an indictment of the problem. 6 years and we still have a defense that folds like a table at the most important times. I don’t know if we need a completely different defensive philosophy, but something big needs to change. Maybe it’s drafting. Our back-up players or anyone drafted not named Milano or White isn’t cutting it.

We’ve had some really good WRs over the years, despite not having a QB to throw them the ball. Imagine having Allen throwing to Moulds, Evans, or Price? Would be nice.

Weren’t the Broncos one of the teams Flores accused of discrimination? Didn’t he say everyone was hung over during his interview?

This is probably because their division is a joke. They basically get an extra 6 bye weeks because of this, whereas the Bills need to be constantly on their A game to win the division.

This has bad contract written all over it. The good news is if we don’t restructure, there is an out after 2025. High-priced FAs rarely make a huge impact on teams.

I could easily see getting bounced from the playoffs next year. This team is not built as a perennial playoff contender. Take Allen out of the equation, and our roster is fairly average. With Allen in the equation, as it stands, Allen will have to play to perfection for us to compete. We really shouldn’t have to rely so much on a single player.

Neither was White. Otherwise, either drafting or development has been subpar.

With all respect to Hamlin, he won’t make our team better.

There’s tons of posters on this board who are of the opinion that we’re just another elite WR away from a SB win. Or, with the best arm in the league, Josh should throw it every down. Or, that a running game is too old school and for Boomers. Or, that RBs are a dime-a-dozen and we shouldn’t put focus there.

Not everyone, but someone high up there. It’s not just 1 playoff loss, but we’ve been prematurely bounced out of the playoffs 4 years in a row with supposedly one of the best QBs in the league. Meanwhile, Burrow went to a SB his rookie season and Mahommes won a SB his 2nd full season. Are we wasting Allen’s prime? Is McD gaining the reputation of a coach who can’t win in the playoffs? Outside of the playoffs, I knew we weren’t going to get anywhere with our divisional showing. SB teams don’t lose to the Jets or squeak our wins against the Fins.

I’m not very comfortable going into this game. Too many mistakes last game and Cincy likely won’t let us get away with it.

I think it’s a long season for rookies. They’re not used to it, nor are in NFL shape at beginning of season. The Bills seem to let them slowly get acclimated and then let them loose in the playoffs.

The big question is, to knock out of game or not knock out of game? The Bills defense has a history of removing starting QBs from games. Do we want to do this and have Teddy Bridgwater come in or treat Skylar with kids gloves?
