  1. Even though they say that sales won't start until 8 tonight, I was able to buy a ticket through Ticketmaster this morning. You can go to the Bills website, go to schedule, then hit ticket purchase and review the map. There are some tickets available in sections not highlighted, so click on wherever you want to sit & see if anything is available. Buffalo Bills vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Sun • Sep 12 2021 • 1:00 PM Highmark Stadium — Orchard Park, NY Sec 115
  2. Reminds me of a date years ago with an Albany woman who asked me "What are you passionate about besides the Buffalo Bills?" I couldn't come up with a good answer. It was our last date.
  3. It's hardly as bleak as it looks for 2022. There is over $35 million in cap space used on Allen & Edmunds. Contract extensions will greatly reduce these cap numbers.
  4. He's going to be really close to his family because he is not making the Rams 53 man roster.
  5. Any idea on who the QB that the Jets will draft with a top 5 pick in 2024 is? If they can wait another year or 2 Arch Manning might be available in the 2025 or 2026 draft.
  6. He won about half his starts with the Bills. All he has to do is win 1/4 of his Houston starts & if he starts the whole season that will be enough to keep them from the #1 pick.
  7. Everyone is picking Houston as the worst team & the favorite for the #1 pick, but as we've seen here, Tyrod is just good enough to win enough games to keep them from getting the #1 pick. When Tyrod was here I used to call him a "Wheel Spinner" because he wasn't good enough to get you anywhere in the playoffs, but could keep you from being bad enough to get a top draft choice.
  8. If you feel that strongly, you can try calling him 10 times a day until he listens.
  9. Claimed by the Philadelphia Eagles.
  10. This reminds me of the time I read the draft reports on a Division III record breaking QB from Mount Union College. I thought he was at worst a 3rd round pick. He went undrafted and bounced around some practice squads and in 1996 won a championship in the World League. In 1997 the Bills signed him & I was sure he was going to be the Bills starting QB for years. In August 1997 I went to the only preseason game I've ever been to because I wanted to see him play & cheer him on as the next great Bills QB. He never made the Bills 53 man roster. His name is Jim Ballard. This is him nowadays. https://ballardquarterbackacademy.com/who-we-are
  11. I heard the same thing about Brian Brohm, who a bunch of posters "saw him play in college". Please Stop.
  12. Jake Peterman is never going to make the team. Although I do admit I said this last September before the final cuts & he made the 53.
  13. When the deal 1st hit the news I looked up Rob's career in college & at Jacksonville and came to one conclusion. The 1st thing I posted here I titled the thread "Rob Johnson, the sacked man" because it was pretty evident he held on to the ball too long for his own good & had a high % of being sacked. Then I Iistened to Wade & Butler and they convinced me I was wrong and I was on Rob's side during the QB controversy. In the end it turned out my 1st impression was correct & worse than just taking sacks, he was injury prone & you never knew if he'd be available week to week.
  14. I was at NE when JP went down & I yelled "Don't get up". That's how convinced I was Edwards was the answer. I actually went over to some NE fans I had talked with before the game & said Trent Edwards coming in for JP would go down in Bills history the same way Brady for Bledsoe did in NE.
  15. Back then I went to every Bills home game except pre-seasons. I remember that game. The fans were getting restless when Indy jumped to a big lead. Jim Kelly was in the club level and the fans in the lower bowl were turning around, looking up & begging him to come out of retirement & rescue the team. By the end of the game I thought the Bills had stolen Collins in the 1995 draft. What I didn't remember was all the empty seats. Does anyone remember why the attendance was so low for a September game? I know traditionally when they were still in the AFC East, Indy was one of the weakest draws in the league for Bills home games.

  17. I remember 2 years ago when another UB player, Tyree Jackson, went undrafted. There were UB homers who were asking why Josh Allen was the 7th pick in the prior draft yet Tyree, who they envisioned as similar to Josh went undrafted. Well, the Bills signed him as an UFA, cut him & he didn't even end up on the practice squad. Then he went to the XFL and originally was behind Cardale Jones. After the XFL folded he didn't play in the NFL this past season. Recently Jackson resurfaced as a TE & signed with the Eagles this offseason. Let's hope the Bills didn't blow it & he turns into another Logan Thomas.
  18. Here's a few of my worst: I had Willis McGahee AND Trent Edwards in the Hall of Fame. I actually made a shrine to Willis at my desk at work with gameday photos from the Buffalo News and labeled it "The road to Canton" I loved it when the Bills traded up & drafted J.P. Losman. Back then I used to do my own draft & I drafted JP at 13 when the Bills drafted Evans. In 2005 I predicted the Bills would go 12-4 with JP. I thought every game that Flutie played was detrimental to the team long term because Rob Johnson needed to play. Now the best ones: After half a season as head coach I said the Bills should fire Hank Bullough before the 1986 season. After the Vikings game his rookie year, I went to the mall that week & bought a Josh Allen jersey, convinced I'd be able to wear it for many years.
  19. He's my next door neighbor & he's in his 60s. Doesn't look like he can play in the NFL. He doesn't follow sports, so the next time I see him I'll tell him his namesake was drafted by the Bills.
  20. Nobody makes trades with that many draft choices. The OP has watched Draft Day too much.
  21. I think he's drafting Trevor Lawrence.
  22. Teddy Bridgewater is starting to feel like Charlie Brown about to kick a football.
  23. You'll have to wait until tomorrow's newspapers.
