It makes me miss the old halfback dive plays though. I get it that the defenders are a lot bigger and quicker than they were 35 years ago, but man I loved watching Robb Riddick and his 80 inch shoulder pads leap over the goal line in ‘88

If he went to the Pittsburgh, the yinzers would say that he's "warshed up" -
Will Josh Host SNL In The Near Future?
mushypeaches replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall
He can’t be worse than Andrew Dice Clay or Steven Seagal -
Let's be honest, Josh probably has 5 good seasons left

Jesus H Christ, better draft his replacement this year. SMFH -
This is the time of the year when all the tinfoil hats get polished up for another round of Madden GM mode

Would You Consider Getting Tre if Cut By the Ravens ?

You can't have depth corners on your team that don't play special teams We already have one of those in Elam, unfortunately -
Steelers approach Jags about a Trevor Lawrence Trade
mushypeaches replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
Honestly, if I were the Jags, I'd hop all over this opportunity. Somebody wants your underwhelming, uninspiring QB on a big fat 2nd contract? All while you won like 4 games last year and starting over with a new GM & coach? Yes, you're gonna eat a lot of dead cap, but might as well do it while you're already horrible Because really, if you don't have a Top 5 QB, but are paying someone like they are, then you're really nowhere now, and nowhere for the foreseeable future -
He was probably partying too much with Russ Brandon

Travis Kelce uncertain of future. Mulling retirement

The only problem is that we'll still see his over-exposed face and ridiculous opinions in multiple other forums -
The Stadium Wall is a great place to come talk about the Bills
mushypeaches replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't post very often, but have been on this site since 1999. Easily the best discussion board forum for our team -

Anyone else here going through "The Calmness?"

It amazes me that with the money spent on these new stadiums that they become "obsolete" within 25 years

Smart move for both sides - let Saleh begin to rebuild his reputation after leaving the Clown Show In another 1-2 years, after showing some success, he'll be seen in a new light and start interviewing for HC positions

I mean, the Raiders have certainly made much worse coaching choices over the past 25 years This doesn't really move the needle on the team's overall success until the figure out the QB situation long-term Pete might "rah-rah" and "culture" his way to a couple more victories than Antonio Pierce would, but the end results still look like "meh"

Part 2- Another disaster by McDs defense in the playoffs
mushypeaches replied to RoscoeParrish's topic in The Stadium Wall
It took me until halfway through the post to decipher if you were being sarcastic or not -
For a guy that was supposedly being super careful about the opportunity that he finally chose, it's strange that he believes his best choice would be the Bears Yes, they have last year's #1 draft pick QB. But he didn't impress me to the point that having coaching competence is going to elevate his game into the top tier. He's more likely to bust than anything else Add a healthy dose of front office dysfunction, and playing in a division where the rest of the teams made the playoffs this year? Yikes And yes, the Saints & Jets jobs are definitely worse Jaguars is close to being similar and on par with the Bears. But it's also in Florida Raiders don't have a QB but I would trust Tom Brady to have a plan to find one a lot more than my chances of developing Caleb Williams

John Harbaugh Presser After the Loss - I always respected him
mushypeaches replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall
Harbaugh is an excellent coach, but I think that he has a bad habit of outsmarting himself He has a Top 5 QB, Top 5 RB, and Top 5 Defense - with the ability to just plow through teams because of their dominant physicality And yet, year after year, they seem to play down to their level of competition in the regular season, and go away from their strengths in the playoffs And that's all coaching -
Josh wanted to lateral on that 3rd and goal
mushypeaches replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh has 6 total turnovers this year I think that we can finally trust him to make the right decisions with the ball -
I can't believe that this is an actual message board topic the day after we won a Divisional playoff game
