  1. If we ever have a year where our defense isn't full of injuries and 3rd stringers by playoff time, that's our year to win the whole thing
  2. No… no it’s not. If you don’t have a franchise QB, the strategy is to pay NOBODY, and devote your resources toward finding that QB. If that means going 0-17 to do it, you do it! Just don’t throw your cap space away on resources that aren’t going to move the needle if you don’t have the QB first
  3. You just can’t pay a WR like that when you don’t have a franchise QB. Jets just lit a whole ton of money on fire
  4. I desperately want to see him Tuesday 2/10/26 at the end of the parade, when they start to make the speeches. And he gets to go before anyone, even Terry Pegula Millions of people, Bills fans, and non-fans alike will shed celebratory tears when he delivers the famous line
  5. As a Rochester native who grew up in the 80's with the Amerks, there is still no better goal celebration song than "Freeze Frame" Absolutely iconic
  6. Bill Barnwell is an excellent writer, even if he does work for ESPN. His articles are well researched and informative, and in this one, he goes to great lengths to spell out his exact criteria, which focuses on the skill positions only, trying to be totally independent of QB, scheme, OL, and coaching Additionally, it's only the Top 5 players - so 3 WR's, 1 TE, 1 RB. It doesn't take into account depth at any of these positions So in that respect, in a vacuum, yes the Bills are much closer to the bottom than the top. Our WR group is largely underwhelming at first glance to outside audiences Daulton Kincaid hasn't performed to expectations (whether that's deserved or not) James Cook is a nice RB but not an every down player like many others But what I think we all know is that the Bills offense is much more than the sum of its individual parts Josh Allen elevates everyone The investment in developing the OL has unlocked everything and is one of the main reasons we're a SB contender We have a very solid 2nd and hopefully 3rd TE Our RB2 and RB3 are also high performers And Joe Brady's schemes, coaching, and actual commitment to running the football have brought us a Top 5 offense All of this despite our top 5 "skill" players being well below average
  7. McDaniel is easily in the Top 5 of coaches who likely won't survive the season. I put him 3rd on my list: Daboll (NYG) Steichen (IND) McDaniel (MIA) Gammon (ARI) Stefanski (CLE)
  8. Chris Watson if only specifically as a “punt catcher”
  9. Meh - two teams that are gonna be weekly residents of that "In The Hunt" graphic all year
  10. Pfffftttt - it's pretty lame to call it "sneaking in" if you don't get hepped up on goofballs, cover yourself in feces, and scale a 20 ft fence
  11. I suggest the AFC Championship game on Sunday 1/25/26
  12. I will never fear playing Miami as long as Tua is the starter there
  13. You are spot on about the drought. When you already know that your team is basically a bunch of JAG’s, it’s easy to try and find hope in something new and different, even if it’s a super small chance of being realistic
  14. He’s got to at least get to a SB. No QB since Warren Moon has made it without that criteria
  15. I think it's humorous that of all the endorsement opportunities that likely come his way, that he chose that one
  16. I remember we hosted the Titans on SNF for the season opener in 2000. Everyone was all fired up for a “revenge” game which the Bills won by 3 points on their way to an 8-8 season and a 17 year playoff drought. Point is - Lamar Jackson - using revenge as motivation is lazy and useless.
  17. I think it’s interesting that there’s only 6 active QB’s that have SB rings as starters, and 4 of them might not be in the league next year Hurts Mahomes Stafford Flacco Rodgers Wilson
  18. You know what's enjoyable? Having a top QB for the first time in forever, and not really caring about where he, or anyone else ranks Because on any given day - no matter who's on the other sideline, he can put our team on his shoulders and lead us to a championship
  19. Love this signing - low risk, potential high reward As an added bonus, he's good mentoring for younger guys like Dorian Williams and Buffalo Joe
  20. Saying to myself for the 439th time since January after reading one of these posts... The regular season can't get here soon enough
  21. Well, we could certainly use some veteran LB depth, even just for break glass in case of emergency I never want to see Baylon Spector taking defensive snaps for this team again
  22. Clearly you don’t own a Sedrick Van Pran-Granger jersey…
  23. I'm on the waiting list - have been for 3 years now and wish I had thought to get seasons a year or two earlier The PSL is an investment - and as one of the earlier posters said, if you sell 2-3 games worth, you'll get your investment back pretty quickly Even though the prices are going up, the demand will still be there, and with decreased stadium capacity, it will stay there, even if the team declines Will the new stadium be better? In some ways - yes Will the new stadium be worse? In other ways - yes Those who don't like it, can stay home and watch on TV But I'm 50 years old, and I plan to attend every game I can before I can't any more You only live once
  24. I have never rewatched any Bills playoff loss. Even from an analytical standpoint, there's still too much emotion involved for it to be a worthwhile experience The only exception I've ever made is the 1989 loss at Cleveland - that was such a wildly entertaining back-and-forth game, and while I still cringe at Ronnie Harmon's alligator arms, I could bear the anguish knowing that we were turning into a juggernaut the next 4 seasons.
  25. I'd love to see this team actually sniff a QB on 3rd down
