  1. Agreed. I was firmly in the 'resign Edmunds no matter what' camp, but i've started to wonder what else we could do with the money. Edmunds is obviously a great talent, but I just don't think he's an impact player. Like with Star, I'm sick of hearing about all the things Edmunds does that don't show up on a stat sheet; that just doesn't pass the eye test when watching him play
  2. yeah anyone who doesn't see how adding Henry would make the Bills better should probably stop pretending to know anything about football he wouldnt have to carry the load here but it sure would be nice to have a guy that could grind it out in the 4th quarter and that had to be accounted for
  3. Side note here. When I watch highlight reels of other teams, particularly bad ones, it always seems like their mediocre or underachieving players always have season highlights against the Bills. This isn't new either, i feel like the Bills have been way over-represented in other teams highlights for years
  4. 11, but an early bloomer, like one of those dominican baseball players
  5. Or, he was smart enough to realize most NFL players have really short careers and was hedging his own bet.
  6. It's because today is upside down day, and another $17m in the hole is a good thing
  7. Yeah it's really this. Our D is strait up timid, especially when you look at what we've got invested in it. KC doesnt have as much talent on D but they make big plays when they need to. On top of that let Josh cook and force other teams to play catch up Trading Diggs is a dumb idea even by TBD offseason crackposting standards
  8. That D was so dominant. Basically the opposite philosophy of the current Bend but Dont Break But Then Break version we employ today not too many 3rd and 19s converted against that team!
  9. Wherein Edmunds goes to play for Emperor Palpatine and becomes The Greatest MLB Who Ever Lived or, conversely, generally sucks but has 2 All Pro games a year
  10. Right. Is he any better than the rest of the AARP crew we have at WR?
  11. Agree with this. It feels...half hearted, yet overblown, compared with CBS
  12. Defense matters in as much as you can make critical stops at critical times. KC spends a whole lot less on D than we do, but have an opportunistic D that seems to show up big in the biggest moments. Our D on the other hand is statistically smothering but finds a way to show up small when the chips are down. That hurts when you look at what we could have had loaded up on our Offense in the last several drafts instead of grabbing a bunch of JAGs for some dumb rotational DL that cant get to the QB or stop opponents on 3rd and forever
  13. The point is with the rule changes to protect QBs and let WRs get away with murder, even the 85 bears would have gotten 38 dropped on them last night. The only chance is to be ultra efficient on O. Marginal additional investment in D will not pay off.
  14. maybe if he has elevator cleats
  15. He's 39 years old but still has something in the tank
  16. cause he gassed, come on man
  17. just keep your left elbow bent when you're golfing, voila, no problem!
  18. not very sporting of them! Very unprocess like
  19. Did the bills even put a glove on burrow last week? Is KCs D that much better?
  20. It figures Jane Fonda is a Brady fan
  21. This is also true. What is his hit? $10m? You probably keep him and maybe draft a big body in the later rounds
  22. Right, there's no such thing as a moral victory
  23. yeah, but it was snowing you can't just expect our DL to be able to perform in that
  24. I dont know. At times, Oliver moved with violence and had to be accounted for, but it feels like that was at best a few plays a game, and the rest of the time he was getting blown up or a RB was blasting past him. He seems too small to play on the IDL
  25. I mean, he's terrible and all, but the success he has had was with Rogers so
