  1. Hey, they suck on Sundays but they sure are good at social media and feel good stories for the local news and when you think about it that’s the real treasure
  2. Yup. The Pats are the very blueprint of a team that overwhelm the Bills in every phase of the game. McD, of course, will not change anything and rely on ‘culture’ to make up for the increasingly yawning talent gap between the Bills and their opponents. Definitely looking forward to McD talking about the guys working hard or whatever vacuous platitudes he’ll use this week.
  3. this. While the Bills were building a finesse, effete team, the rest of the conference was focused on building teams that can run and stop the run. The Bills are so delicate and sophisticated that a High School game plan executed by average players leads to the Bills getting completely physically dominated. I wonder if the Colts came into the Bills locker room after and shoved the Bills into their lockers and took their lunch money.
  4. we aren’t one of the most talented teams, not by a long shot. Who do we have that are difference makers? Allen? I guess, though he’s a pale shadow of last year. Diggs? Hard to say, daboll is far too smart to use Diggs like he did last year. On D I just don’t see anyone that strikes fear into opposing OCs. We have 10 slightly below to slightly above average DL and some finesse LBs. and let’s stop with “one godawful game” when we’ve dropped 3 of 4, where we were favored in each
  5. I don’t see any more than 3 wins for rest of season. Maybe they sneak into WC but what would the point even be? The book is written on how to beat This team. the other issue is that we have players like Brown and Star who apparently are the most critical players on the team who aren’t available. On paper we have a solid roster. On the field we have a sinking team who seem to not really care if they win or lose. Zero fight. Soft and stupid.
  6. To that point, once the Bills are eliminated, we can say that they're not as bad as they look
  7. We're obviously too thin except on DL, but even there, we have a million guys and none of them are difference makers. Every team gets injuries, we just seem fundamentally incapable of winning unless we have 100% of our starters in
  8. The worst part of it is that the talking heads will continue to act as if the Bills are a good team because statistically we probably still have a good team. On paper. Here in the real world though, the word is out, our O is more pop gun than K gun. Our D can be run over all day long, and put up gentle, at best, resistance. Oh, and if they do make a stop, the once or twice a game they do, there's a 100% chance there is a penalty
  9. tbf Allen isn't playing like a franchise QB either. There, i said it. Hey I need 6 yards for a first, let me throw this ball as hard as i can to my 5'3" receiver, 4 feet above his head
  10. Expecting them to win enough games to get a WC spot is Pollyanna-ish. Which of these games do you believe the Bills can win? New Orleans New England (lol) Tampa (lllooollllll) Carolina New England Atlanta New York Out of those I see Atlanta and New York as probable wins. None of the others. winning 8 games will not get us into the playoffs.
  11. KC was their superbowl. People don't want to hear this but the Bills can't beat good teams and they have a run of good teams ahead of them. Let's stop talking superbowl and hope we can squeak into a WC slot. It'll be great to go on the road to Pitt or Indy and get run all over Its not to soon to talk about next year. Let's gut the big contracts on the DL that are getting us nowhere and see if we can get some actual competent OL. Maybe some of the big OL contracts need to be examined too, they're underperforming terribly.
  12. Yeah, i guess you can take the Pollyanna route here. We keep seeing this same take. Do you believe the Bills need to win again this year, or are they good as is? They keep losing, what, 3 of 4 now? they're in second in the division, and look to be a terrible matchup against the Pats. Oh well, there was always last year!
  13. Well, that sucked. Some quick thoughts, i'm sure none of this is insightful or original This is a team built to beat up on bad teams and lose to good teams. The announcers keep repeating superlatives about the Bills O & D rankings, even as the Colts made absolute fools of them. Beating up on Miami and Houston got us some sick stats, for sure. I wish we could play them every week We can't run, we can't stop the run. I sure am glad we spend all our draft picks on a DL that just gave up what, 300 yards rushing? Beane is truly a genius, such so that he cannot be judged by our mere mortal metrics like "fielding a competitive team" Josh Allen is a unique talent but can't seem to show up when we need him. Again, 400 yards against bad teams is cool and good. Maybe I should just watch those games and pretend the games against winning teams don't matter The D really is a disgrace. Let's not hear any more about their rankings, they can't stop the run, and the Colts moved the ball at will all day long. They scored on their first 4 drives? 5? does it matter? When we need a big play to turn momentum, always consider #19. He'll make a big play. Just don't be a normie and expect it to be a big play for the Bills, let him express himself as his muse dictates. Coach McD must have delivered a hell of a speech at halftime. Have the Bills ever played better in a second half than a first during his tenure? Can we get a relief coach in there at halftime so Coach McD can go do whatever it is he'd rather be doing? Oh, and sorry, this should have been higher on the list. Like #1. The O-Line is terrible and whomever is in charge of that should quit in disgrace. All in all an absolutely halfhearted performance from everyone on the Bills. Thanks, I guess, for making it so I'll spend time with extended family on Thanksgiving rather than trying to sneak away to watch the game Thursday
  14. I've never been this happy to be so wrong before. To be fair I did caveat it with if daboll gets his head of out his azz, which he clearly did I'm still not super confident in this team. They're bipolar. With NE surging, they can't drop any more dumb games like Jax. Those are the games they needed to give them some buffer against playing actual good teams, so here we are.
  15. Love to see GD back in the game. The O seems to run better with him in there, and his penchant for making circus catches is just icing on the cake.
  16. Hmm. I think i'd rather NE won that game and let us keep our fate in our own hands re: the Pats
  17. Get ready for Hot Takes instead of traditional game calling
  18. Wow, get rekt, me. Instead of the zero receptions i thought he had, he had infinity percent more catches at 1 Do you think it was a good decision to give him a roster spot instead of Hollister?
  19. "Take away the penalties" is doing some pretty heavy lifting for you. The Bills OL had zero answer for the Stunt. I don't care what the 'key metrics' say. Games aren't won on a PFF scorecard. No, you don't understand, our O & D Rankings and my mommy said we are the best team in teh league!
  20. Seems a little strident. 13.5 as an over is a joke, made to point out the ridiculousness of a 13.5 point spread favoring a team that scored 6 points against one of the worst Ds in the league. By all means though, bet all you like on it, nobody is stopping you
  21. Yeah, and JA was running for his life a lot of the game. As the game went on, TN got stronger, the Bills got weaker. JA can play superman but by himself can't win a 60 minute game. TN had plenty of injuries in that game as well, so we can't use that as an excuse. It's one thing to jump out to an early lead, but playoff teams aren't going to be so easy.
  22. Gilliam is the mystery there. Even the few times he's been in at FB, he's a decoy, and has he even caught a pass as a TE? Are we holding him in double top secret reserve for a trick play in the SB? Shoulda kept Hollister instead
  23. With King Henry coming back for the playoffs. My worry for the Bills this year started with that game. TN absolutely manhandled the Bills. JA made it a good game, and nearly pulled it off, but the longer that game went, the more TN was going to win by. I don't feel like the Bills have recovered from that yet, mentally. If they got to play the Dolphins every week, sure, they would win most of those games, but as it stands they have to play other teams as well, including some pretty good ones. I watch a lot of TB games, that D is going to embarrass us unless we can come up with something more novel than throwing the ball 3 yards behind the LoS
  24. Yeah i'm not enthusiastic about it either. 13.5 is too big a spread for any game, frankly. My fear for the Bills is that the Jets see what Jax did, drop 7 and watch our OL crap all over themselves again
  25. I'm willing to take the Jets at +13.5. Obviously betting the under on 13.5 would be stupid, but I would have said the same thing a week ago
