  1. I'll just be happy if Haack can get a punt off in under 30 seconds, and not directly into the belly of an oncoming rusher
  2. Yeah just scrolled through his feed, it's good stuff, recommended
  3. If Milano can't play, it just puts more pressure on the front 4 to get to Kermit the QB. I was pretty happy with how Klein played, and I think he might even be better against the run, which doesnt help when playing the Chiefs much. We really need Milano down the stretch and has been stated repeatedly here, hammy injuries tend to take a longer time to heal. The reality of this game is, if Josh shows up and plays his game, the D doesn't have to be 100%. If Josh does what he did last year, twice, against KC, it doesn't matter what the D does
  4. yeah you wanted DK and you're ~pretty sure~ that the Bills still trade for Diggs. we get it.
  5. I tried to key in on him more during the game - i really appreciate your summary each week. He's getting better in coverage, and he was already pretty good. We're going to get a great measuring stick next week as I figure he'll be covering Kelce. He's going to give up some first downs but if he can get a turnover or even just a few stops, it'll be real growth
  6. On a team that needed OL help, in teh 2nd round the Bills would skip over a guy that most pundits had as a 1st round pick. A universally praised pick, by the way. You're using hindsight in a way that ends up with THE BILLS SHOULD HAVE DRAFTED TOM BRADY INSTEAD OF LEIF LARSON. While true it's about valuable as saying you should have picked the correct numbers for the powerball last night
  7. No, we probably don't. Get real. If we had spent our top draft pick on a receiver, you think we would turn around and spend our next #1 also on a receiver? Do you think we'll trade our next year's number 1 for a DE? I sure am glad you're not GM'ing the Bills
  8. There is a 100% chance that Bill and any descendants are somewhere on the Spectrum. Under normal circumstances, making fun of them should be off limits. But then again, Patriots
  9. Like someone else said, if we draft DK instead of Ford, we don't trade for Diggs in all likelihood. Only a moron would rather have DK than Diggs
  10. dont do meth, kids first, you'll make dumb faces on national tv after that you'll get that haircut
  11. Yeah I think the simple version of what you are saying is, the Bills are making average to good teams look terrible. Houston is terrible, but Washington and Miami have looked much better in their other games
  12. Yeah I get it. I'm partial to 80s rock & alt, but still have a ton of vinyl too. my daughter has a turntable and likes the aesthetic of records, but listens to them from that perspective rather than a desire to hear Led Zeppelin II again. Her spotify playlist is a bunch of bands (?) i've never heard of. Most of it is OK though, just not what we're used to. There is a guy from Buffalo named Grabbitz who is getting some play on alt radio. a pretty fun video too, give it a minute
  13. There's not much 'traditional' rock and roll coming out any more. There's some pretty good rock/hip hop mashups out there, but the music we liked in the 80s is as dead as Tawny Kitaen When the classic rock bands finish up dying out, im not sure what follows. As the classic rock fans age out, it'll be interesting to see how much of that music survives in the popular conscious, say, 30 years from now On a related note, I get a chuckle when I drive back to Buffalo and put 97 rock on and they're playing the exact same music that they were the day i left in 1988
  14. it’ll be a great show even if you don’t like or aren’t familiar with the music
  15. Daboll wouldn't have Allen in NE. I think Mac Jones will be a decent QB over time but it would be a real test for Daboll to take over a middling roster. Decent D, lacking top end talent on O. Given that Allen is still at the front end of his career, Daboll would be betting that he could put a team and plan in place to get past the Bills. Thats going to be a tall order
  16. At that point if you continued thinking it was the coach, not the QB, i guess you can be excused for the rest of your bad and wrong opinions
  17. I'll say that if Allen was still playing at a high level but McBeane utterly mishandled the inevitable transition to the next QB, and Allen went to another team, and immediately won a SB for them while the Bills fell back into shadow? You better bet that we would be every bit as petulant as these pats fans. Remember WADE MUST GO? I dont even remember why we were mad? because the homerun throwback? hell at least that was a playoff game, something we wouldnt sniff for some time after if you recall
  18. Also though, to be fair, what percentage of QBs at any given moment are considered 'good' versus JAG? 20%? Running with that number, that means there are about 6 QBs considered good in a given year. Even if it's 10, the Law of Numbers tells us that the chance that in any given year that an Alabama (or Clemson, Notre Dame, whomever) QB will be in that top tier is pretty low. There are about 130 D1 teams, each has a QB. It really is a crapshoot who is going to be great and who will be JAG or worse. We got real lucky this time after whiffing for 30 years. I will say that when I hear the pundits call someone "the most NFL ready QB of the draft" i assume low ceiling loser like other josh Out of Tua, Hurts, and Jones, i expect 2 of them will be backups within a couple years and maybe one of them will be a middling QB
  19. Tua is too slightly built to be a long term player in the NFL. I'm saying that as a huge fan of both him and Bama. My Brother in law is a huge Miami fan, and also a Bama fan, and was on cloud 9 when Tua went to the phins. He's going to go from one injury to the next and be out of the league in a couple years Hurts is more substantially built but probably not as skilled as Tua. Jones has the best shot at becoming a decent QB. Its not fair to have him throwing 50 times a game at this stage but we'll have a good sense of him by end of this season
  20. GMFB is the modern inheritor of the old ESPN morning show, highlights and fun commentary. ESPN is in the business of lecturing us now
  21. Usually Monday morning i'll watch some highlights but as a whole, ESPN is pretty unwatchable now, as is reflected in their ratings
