  1. I just can't believe all the negative sentiment toward Flutie. Not saying he belongs in the HOF, but to not see the guy as a winner, a positive influence on the community and a very good player for Buffalo is ridiculous. His play IMO was miles better than any QB that has worn a Bills uniform since, including the current one. The way he played the game was inspiring. In the end teams learned to defense him better and he was less effective but he had a good run as a Bill. Really hard to understand how so many here bash the guy.
  2. Well, this is really low hanging fruit. Hire a new head coach.
  3. Stay where you are. It is definitely not safe to return to the US now.
  4. There is little reason to believe that he will have much success with Jauron as his coach.
  5. If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten. Get ready for 7-9.
  6. It appears you're misinformed and greatly so. The numbers don't lie and Kemp's policies would serve our country no better than now. Obama and the current congress are a train wreck in the making. Wake up and take a close look. Sooner or later, you run out of everybody else's money. Kemp understood this. He was a great communicator and a man of principle. All things that made him a very good QB at his small size.
  7. Real fans can lack confidence in their team or the coach. As one gets a little older and wiser, you tend to get better at assessing things and people. Knowing early when something isn't working well is a tremendous skill to have in life. It allows you to make corrections before it's too late when you're pursuing a goal. In any business (football or otherwise) you have to have the right people making the right decisions in order to succeed. Many of us (based on what we have observered) have determined that Jauron is not the right guy. That doesn't make us bad fans. We might be the most realistic fans of all, and if we didn't care about the Bills, we wouldn't express that. I've been around too long to simply apply blind faith to this coach. Frankly, what I've seen of Jauron both in Buffalo and Chicago (where I live) tells me that he is not capable of leading an NFL team to a win in the playoffs and I'm quite confident in that assessment.
  8. Jauron a top 5 coach? You are on a deserted island alone my friend.
  9. Agree. He has good size and showed some flashes in the passing game.
  10. Post of the month.
  11. "Snert"? Funny. Sounds like a Dr. Seuss character.
  12. Some truth to that. Fortunately for me, I will have a good car, good driver and good pit crew this upcoming weekend and have a real chance to win.
  13. Pretty good football team + below average coaching + tough schedule = 7-9.
  14. Can't have an opinion on the 2009 Bills until I see the product on the field. Confidence remains low with Jauron at the helm. Brandon's greatest risk is having Jauron and co. develop these young players.
  15. You actually think that Dick Jauron could coach the Cardinals roster to the Superbowl?
  16. Yes, I believe so.
  17. All will be better when all of the pre and post draft masturbation ends.
  18. Until tonight I would never have believed that you, Dick Jauron, would be contributing to this board. Since when do Lineman not play on special teams?
  19. It's strictly a matter of opinion as to who is better.
  20. Who knows but I'll say this, if you're right, why not just leave after the 5th round and go home? Catch an early flight back to Buffalo. You think the Bills are such a good team that a 6th or 7th rounder can't make it? I'd wager heavily right now that several 6th and 7th rounders league-wide will make rosters of teams with better records last year than Buffalo.
  21. Well let's face it, you can't grade the draft at all at this point.
  22. Go ahead, keep sipping the Jauron Kool-Aid. He doesn't win and he doesn't win because of his decision making which apparently within this front office includes a large role in personnel decisions. They have before the draft 13 Dbs on the roster nearly all of which have some meaningful experience. You need to take 16 or so to training camp when you only have 4TEs on the roster and no clear starter at that position? I'd rather they took a shot at another one of those at least. Heck, DB is already the deepest position on the team both in numbers and probably talent too.
  23. Wait a few days until they sign some undrafted guys. It might be more than 14.
  24. I truly believe he's got a neurosis of some kind with all the damn DBs that are picked and placed on the roster. With all the needs that the Bills have you'd think they would would spread the opportunity in some other areas.
  25. B.S. You can't evaluate this draft objectively for a couple years. Any opinions now are meaningless, even those from the front office themselves. That doesn't mean you can't be excited about who was picked, but you can't begin to grade this draft.
