  1. Jauron could turn that group into an average at best offense with ease.
  2. I look like the eternal optimist compared to you.
  3. Yes, then we can start the season record insanity. Put me down for 7-9.
  4. Peters wants the extra 1.5 million a year to cover the federal tax increase he'll be facing in a year or two.
  5. Acquired through a trade rather than free agency. Technicality.
  6. Hey, 15-20 DBs on training camp roster are not enough.
  7. Depends on what they might get in return, but it's wrong that the Bills haven't been able to make him more productive as a WR. Someone could figure out how to do that if he's traded.
  8. I also thought he was a short-timer. Great, great news that he's doing better.
  9. I have no problem with people making a principled decision. However, if you're going to be principled as an NFL GM or similar, have winning be one of those and make decisions that support that goal. That would include your choice of head coach.
  10. Of course he's behaving. He's playing the Bills like a fiddle. Always has.
  11. Throw in Dick Jauron and maybe the Bills would accept Philly's offer.
  12. Yes. Peters has already shown that he is willing to pressure the Bills into making a deal. He's doing that now. No reason to be in a hurry if you're him in April.
  13. Plan = 7-9 You can adjust for playing cards right or wrong from there.
  14. This board is filled with grief for simple reasons. The Bills don't make the personnel and coaching choices that it takes to win and this upcoming season has the look of "more of the same". Until that changes, we'll have more of the same on this board also. Looks like another year of fun to me.
  15. Different time and place. Lost badly at home to a wildcard team after a bye. Has never backed it up since then. I'm speaking about the Bills here, not reliving Jauron's fine performance during his Chicago days. I'd be happy to turn my worthless post into a predicition for this year (no playoffs). All the Bills have to do to discredit that is prove me wrong. Simple. Until then, my opinion is as good as any other around here.
  16. Dick Jauron + any coaches he chooses + any players = no playoffs. Bills players will only matter when the coach is replaced. Here's to the Bills getting some young talent that will be keepers for 2010 and beyond.
  17. Yes, if the next Bills head coach will want him, then sign the guy.
  18. You just needed to give me a little more time.
  19. Please, let' not try to compare signing T.O. to the deal Chicago just made. I'll give the Bills credit for that move, but the Bears have made what they feel is a franchise move. The Bills are simply renting T.O. for Jauron until Jauron gets canned.
  20. They paid a huge price. Time will tell what the return is. It's a very bold move, the kind you would never expect from the Bills.
  21. Hey, if true it's one heck of a scoop. If not there is still entertainment value here. Keep it coming.
  22. So any player that leaves the Bills should only make favorable comments about the experience? How many players on this team are having a favorable experience? How many feel the coaching and front office can help lead them to a win in the playoffs? How many free agents are wanting to sign with the Bills so that they can be a part of a great program?
