Ehhhh, idk. I guess it could happen. I see at least 3-4 guys I wouldn't expect to be drafted in those positions. I don't think Harmon makes it to us at #30. Side Note: I would be ABSOLUTELY disgusted if the Chiefs drafted Tre. Just completely nauseated.

With the 16th pick....in the 2025 NFL Draft....the Arizona Cardinals select Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon We signed the ageless wonder Calais Campbell in FA, but the interior DL still needs work. And who better to teach a young, explosive defender like Harmon the tricks of the trade. Generating 43 pressures from the interior is insane, but that is what Harmon did. He has an excellent first step, uses his hands well, and will cross on an OL'man to get into the backfield to disrupt plays in an instant. Purdy, Darnold, Stafford, Derrick Harmon is coming for you. @Logic and the Bengals are on the clock.

Just a heads up, the Cardinals are open for business @ #16 if you're looking to trade up.

Well, that's it for Bond. He won't be drafted now.

Nope, not taking the bait. That has Peter Pan guy written all over it

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/44615336/deshaun-watson-everyone-doubting-believe-myself He's turned into a bum QB. He'll never be the same, more or less better than before.

Certain athletes just can't fade away soon enough. I feel like isn't the sharpest tool in the shed marrying the guy in the first place as well.

Cardinals, Falcons, or Colts my friend.

With the 100th selection....in the 2025 NFL draft....the San Francisco 49ers Jalen Rivers, OT, Miami We like the young man's versatility. He played LT and LG during his time in Miami. He only allowed 1 sack and 7 hurries while protecting Cam Ward's blindside this past season. Standing at 6'6" with almost 35" arms, we like what we have to work with. He also moves well enough to get along in our offense. We see a young man we can possibly mold into a swing OT to replace Jaylon Moore, but at worst is a next man up at multiple positions on our OL. @Alphadawg7 and the Rams are on the clock

Draft Day Shocker: Giants take Ashton Jeanty with their first pick

I wouldn't do it personally. But do they believe that's what is preventing them making the Playoffs, a RB? Without a marked improvement, I imagine both Schoen and Daboll are gone. It's a big risk to take. -
With the 75th pick....in the 2025 NFL Draft....the San Francisco 49ers select....... Kyle Kennard...Defensive End...South Carolina For the 2nd pick in a row we go the South Carolina well on defense. Kennard is a long, lean DE prospect. At this point, he wins more with his speed and finesse than he does his power. He has good swim move, as well as a dip-and-rip. He also finds and shoots gaps on defense effectively to create negative plays at times. At 6'5", he has plenty of room to add to his 254lb frame and increase his play strength. @Doc Brown and the Cowboys are on the clock.

TSW 1.0 Poll - Who should the Bills select at #56 ? (closes 2pm EDT)

I didn't really take that into account prior to reading this, but I believe you are correct. For some reason I was forgetting our second 2nd It doesn't take but so much rational thinking for the ND homer switch to flip. Vote changed as well. -

I like Skakir. I'm glad we gave him a contract extension. I see him as Josh's new Beasley. A perfect and reliable outlet for Josh, but he's really just another solid Slot WR. I think Bills fans put him on a pedestal like he's something more than what he really is.
-
Overrated - probably Shakir. He's like the Walmart version of Amon Ra. Underrated - Christian Benford (even by yours truly). I just started looking into his coverage stats and didn't realize how good he actually was.

Like I said, I love Watts. I know exactly what type of player he is. I've watched every snap he played in an ND uniform. Free release or no free release, if you're giving Mahomes 5 or 6 seconds back there then someone is going to uncover every time and he will find them. He didn't have that against Tampa and he didn't have that against Philly, but he seems to have 5 or 6 seconds against use every time. Look at the investment Philly put into their DL as well, prior to drafting Secondary. They also had guys in place in the Secondary they either traded for or signed in FA. Two years in a row they spent the #13 and the #9 picks on DT's. Then, last year they drafted Mitchell and DeJean in the 1st and 2nd. The DL investment came first. The way this draft has played out, I would select Farmer here. I also voted to take Nolen in the 1st. I wouldn't have hesitated to run to the podium for that pick. Then I would be drafting different here. -

I love Watts. ND guy, and you all know me. ND homer I've watched him make plays for the Irish defense the last 2 years. And I think he would be at the least a really good player, but do we really want to spend a 2nd on a guy who will most likely would not be the starter? Though I do like the young shift it would at least symbolize in the Secondary. But when I look at the Eagles and the Bucs, the two teams who beat Mahomes in the SB, they didn't do it with some amazing Secondary. It was the DL that made Mahomes uncomfortable all game long. It forced him into errors and disrupted his timing. That's what we need. -
Take a kicker!!!

With the 43rd pick.....in the 2025 NFL draft.....the San Francisco 49ers select... TJ Sanders, Defensive Tackle, South Carolina Tough selection here. I had about 3 players I really liked at this spot. But no question, a fit for our defense who lost Javon Hargrave and Maliek Collins on the DL. He has heavy hands, and is a powerful force on the interior. A lot of times you see him just push a blocker into the backfield, disrupting the QB. He holds his ground well and can disengage to bring down ball carriers. He is also twitchy for a big guy and can create some pressure. @Doc Brown and the Cowboys are on the clock.

So, out of 61 picks since 2017, 13 have started more than half of the games in a season. Out of those 13, 5 of them are from the 2017 and 2018 drafts. That means only 8 players since the 2019 draft have stared more than half of the games in a season. That's basically an average of one player per year. You can spin that one of three ways. You can say we drafted guys who weren't ready to play, you can say it's because we were already good at those positions and there was no need for a rookie to start, or it can be that McDermott will always lean on the guy with seniority for the sake of seniority over the guy just drafted. In varying instances, each of them has been true.
