I say build a beast of a DL like Philly. Nolen and then two 1-tech's like Williams, Collins, or Caldwell.

Now they just have to fire the guy who spotted the ball like he could see through Josh Allen's back to be accurate when putting it on the ground.

I had never even thought Dez when I watched him. That's a quality take. I think they have a similar run after the catch ability, and that grit to their game. I see a guy similar to Tee Higgins, especially when the ball is in the air.

McMillan is faster, and has better short area quickness than Burks had coming out of Arkansas. I also think he is more versatile because of it with the ability to line up at X, Y, or the Slot. I like him as a prospect more than Golden. That's just me though.

We can agree to disagree, just like we have this entire time. That's fine. I believe the comments Beane made about his reps putting things out there, along with the rest of how things have been handled as a whole are not appreciated. You keep acting like everyone who mentions things of the sort has some kind of lack of education, emotion, or jealousy behind it. I really, REALLY, could care less whether a deal is done or it doesn't get done. Whether he's here, is traded, or walks as a FA. I don't care, my guy. What I am speaking out of is general observation as to how everything else has played out, and my personal opinion on the reasons behind it.

And Dalvin made $41.3M in the NFL thus far. He should be good, if he didn't/doesn't blow all of his $$$. Jimbo does have a small window to maximize his $$$. He's a good RB and has proven to be worthy of a raise. The Bills likely agree, but not at the amount he or his agent wants. The Bills have every right to not cave to his demands. This next point has been talked about ad nauseum, but I'm going to repeat it again. I think Beane's comments the other day in the presser, and the fact negotiations have been halted, paint a picture that they (in part) do not appreciate how this situation has been handled. Every single other big name, drafted by the Bills, player coming up on FA got a deal done. Everyone except for James Cook.

With the 11th pick in the 2025 NFL draft....the San Francisco 49ers select...... Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas We could have gone many directions. We could have gone DL, but it's a deep DL draft. We could have gone WR, but we can wait on that as well. OL, we can get another swing OT later as well. We have 5 more picks in the first 138 selections. There aren't too many top notch CB prospects in this draft though, and we lost Charvarius Ward in FA. Barron is a do-it-all CB who can line up on the boundary, in the slot, or even play Safety. He will be a Swiss army knife for Robert Saleh in our defense. He has great instincts, takes good angles, and gets takeaways. Even in the step up against SEC competition this year, he shined. @Doc Brown and the Cowboys are on the clock.

Beane's comments on Cook make me think of Gabe Davis. They have a number in mind and they will not exceed it. I also think he doesn't appreciate the way Cook's side has handled all of this. I also believe he expects Cook to play out his deal this year. Still wouldn't surprise me if he was moved.

It depends on how the situation is viewed from within. If it is viewed as something that would be a distraction to the team and cause problems, I think they look for the best deal from a team that will give him a contract like he is looking for. Comp picks can't bring peace or develop team chemistry. Sometimes it's best to go ahead and remove the person from the situation.

Yeah, the Bills aren't going for that. If he starts a holdout that even keeps him out for TC and most of the Preseason, I think he's gone. They'll take whatever they can get for him at that point and send him packing. They will not allow a RB to become a distraction. We got rid of a WR last year who was a constant thorn, one that all of the outside heads said this offense couldn't make it without, then JA17 wins MVP. Cook will be treated the same if he becomes a problem as well.

The taxes and insurance alone will take the rest of his $$$. No wonder he's so skinny, he ain't got $$$ to eat.
