  1. He's already at the new Highmark with scissors in hand waiting to cut the tape.
  2. Seattle has lost their minds. No one is giving them a 1st and a 3rd.
  3. So we have our new Beasley in Shakir, and now we can get our new John Brown.
  4. Yeah, but they aren't Singletary or Moss. Also, both of them are good pass blockers and can catch the ball out of the backfield. Three down RB's if need be. I like both of their prospects at the NFL level, A LOT. I'd be willing to take that chance. Who in the world is Shakir Betta?
  5. Cook is a good player. But I think TreVeyon Henderson and Omarion Hampton could fill his shoes just fine. If someone is willing to give us a 2nd, I make that deal and let them pay him. We have enough going on without tying up $15M in a RB right now. Unless they do one of those "outward appearance" deals making it with void years, and where it doesn't hurt us now or down the line really.
  6. Never thought Crosby was a realistic option for anyone. I knew they wouldn't trade him.
  7. I mean, Al Davis used to overdraft guys solely because of 40 times. What makes you think Mark won't defer to the guy with 7 rings? As far as the type of human Tom is, we all know. I'm sure the GM and everyone would have to be on board ad well, but I think Tom holds weight in Vegas.
  8. Respectfully disagree. I think he has good change of direction and is sudden in his movements. Surely wouldn't take Golden over him. Egbuka, maybe. If he were there at #30, depending on the defensive talent available, I would take him. I don't think it will be an option regardless as I expect all three of McMillan(no question), Burden, and Egbuka to all be off the board when we pick.
  9. I could see the Raiders taking someone they really like at 6, then moving back into the last couple spots of the 1st to get Dart. It will depend a lot on how Brady sees him imo.
  10. Makes sense, or the Chargers.
  11. Good for Saquon. He is a perfect fit for that team and pretty much led them to a SB this year. But this puts Cook in the Twit-news again with his 👀 post. This guy is an absolute clown if he thinks he will get that kind of $$$. Personally, I'm good with trading him and drafting TreVeyon Henderson or Omarion Hampton.
  12. I mean, Cam Ward is a pretty good prospect. I watched him make some fantastic throws this year, both on and off script. I don't know how he would fit into Daboll's offense, but he can throw the football and has good arm strength. I, personally, can't see Golden going before McMillan or Burden. But, stranger things have happened. Imo, it would just push the two better WR's down the board. I have always thought Sanders was more a product of the hype machine than he was the actual #1 QB prospect. Like others have said, it's a bad year to need a QB. You have Ward and Sanders in the 1st, Jaxson Dart as a 2nd rounder, Ewers as a 2nd or early 3rd, then everyone else is just late round flier material imo. And no, I'm not a fan of Milroe in the slightest.
  13. The Jets have no leverage at this point. They will be fortunate to get a 5th in return.
  14. I'd rather volunteer my testicles for ball peen hammer durability testing.
  15. Diggs wants to play with his brother in Dallas. That was his goal from the beginning. He will take less money than other places are offering to go there. This is the easiest move to peg of impending FA.
  16. He'll be in a Dolphins uni next year. Their Safety play has been a weakness and they're about to let Holland walk.
  17. As long as he's just a vet minimum, rotational guy. Sure. He'd be an upgrade over Smoot. He isn't any sort of impact player at this point though, obviously.
  18. I like this move for both parties. If Deebo can stay healthy, I fully expect him to bounce back in a Kingsbury designed offense. He will find different ways to get him the ball just like Shanahan did in SF. Even with this, they still have the $$$ to go after Tee Higgins. Can you imagine that O with McLaurin, Higgins, and Samuel? Then they can go get someone like Austin Hooper as a stop-gap TE. Then draft one of the top RB's in Henderson, Hampton, or Judkins. An offense that was already tough to handle will be even more dynamic.
  19. We as fans get our hopes up every year if "big names" come up on the trade block or start circulating like they could be. We don't make these types of moves. Garrett, Metcalf, neither of them are going to happen.
  20. Dorian was solid this past season, but I think he will come into his own this year. I think he takes a step forward in his understanding of his role and what opposing offenses are doing. The guy has an elite closing burst and brings the hammer when he hits people.
  21. Seriously though, if they strike the league will likely fold. Then there will be no base salary.
  22. I liked him on tape, but he just ran a 4.72 @ 244lbs. That doesn't look good. To be that light almost exclusively puts him as a 3-4 OLB as well.
  23. Drew doing his pre-draft damage control. Carter will be fine though. He's one heck of a player. I watched him cause the ND offense all kinds of problems with just one arm. I hope he doesn't go to the Pats.
  24. 12 sacks, 10.5 sacks, and 9 sacks this past season. He's played alongside some pretty solid DT's as well. $17.5M is a bit steep imo. If he was willing to rework his deal to lower the cap hits, then maybe. I wouldn't trade anything more than a 5th though.
