I’m sure there’s other opposing players who “hate” JA too

You forget the game last year that propelled Joe Milton into superstardom.

The Pats are on the right track if they keep building around Drake Maye. Vrabel was a solid hire for them as HC. I expect him to be there for an extended period. Josh McDaniels is a good OC. Maye looks better in year 2. Diggs is having a decent year thus far. Hunter Henry is still a solid TE. Their defense has some nice pieces. I expect meathead to have a solid gameplan on defense. He's seen Josh many times. This is a division game and those are usually tough. Still, I expect us to win at home. Our issues stopping the run could make this a breakout game for TreVeyon Henderson, but I hope not. They may keep it closer than any of us would like though.

Van Demark was having too much fun out there burying defenders into the ground. He must have had 6-8 pancake blocks on Sunday. Even still, I'll be glad when we Spencer Brown is back to full health and on the field. I think many of us take for granted how good of a RT he has become.

They can choose not to activate him and leave him stashed all year. They aren't going to take a chance trying to slip Prater through waivers and put him on the PS. We have all seen Bass, and how erratic he is. That ain't changing because of competition and an IR stint. The job is Prater's unless he falls apart, and I don't see that happening.
-
Prater is the guy, until he is not. I expect that to be this entire season. I don't think Bass comes off of IR unless Prater comes completely unglued. I don't see that happening. He's been doing this at a high level for way too long. I trust Prater more than any kicker we have had in a long time.

Rosenhaus doing the typical agent bullcrap tour. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46438904/dolphins-wr-tyreek-hill-not-need-multiple-surgeries The "realistic" goal is the start of next season. I'd bet a large sum of $$$ that ain't happening.

Shedeur got passed over by every team multiple times for a reason, and that reason was not some conspiracy to make an example out of him. He's 3rd on the depth chart in Cleveland for a reason. He can say what he wants. It's a free country. Just like Rex can say what he wants. It's a free country. Momma Sanders can say what she wants. It's a free country. Then you have people who will pick a side and carry that flag with them, no matter what side they are on. Finally, you have the people who don't care. They don't care what Shedeur said. They don't care what Rex said. They don't care what momma Sanders said. That would be me. I don't care.

They can cut him prior to June 1, 2026 for a cap charge of $28.248M. Post June 1 it drops all the way to $15.898M. I imagine the language in his contract will dictate what can be done, but he will likely be released post June 1 in 2026. ***Sorry, original comment I had looked at things backwards on OTC***

Regardless of what you think of him as an individual, that was one of the nastiest dislocations I have seen. At 31 years old, with multiple torn ligaments, and the fact he likely won't see the field in 2026 either, I'd guess his career is likely over. That would put him trying to return in 2027 at age 33. For a speed WR, I really think this will sap anything he had left and make him average at best.

There have been rumblings about Brown before in Philly, but this may gain some traction this time. Apparently he's not too happy with the direction of the offense at this time and has posted some cryptic tweet/tweets about it. The Eagles could trade him now without too much concern cap-wise. He's 28 and probably has 3 good years in him at least. What say you TBD? First, do you think he would put us over the top if he does become available? And then, what would you be willing to part with for him?

The Bills beat the Saints because of you... (superstition/karma reasons)

Is this like sending Frankie Coffee Cake to the bathroom when Colagero was about to roll the dice? -
The MVP race is wide open right now. If the Chiefs have flipped that switch, then Mahomes' numbers should continue to skyrocket. He could climb to the top fairly quick. They also get Rice back in 3 weeks. Josh will of course be in the convo. No, he's still as meh and overpaid as ever. He has a 58.3% completion percentage right now.

1-0 this week. That's all that matters. I'll be glad when we get Oliver, Milano, and Spencer Brown back. I believe they were all sorely missed this week. I am also awaiting PEDynamic duo to make their debuts. Hopefully, they add some juice to this front and also understand disciplined football.

Up: Bishop - Getting better Kincaid - Getting better all the way around Cook - Continues to impress this year Down: Groot - What the heck, man? It makes you wonder who will be riding the pine when steroid boy returns. Dorian Williams - Out of position on multiple occasions and getting shook by Rattler. 3rd Down Defense - At some point, Babich has to be held accountable as well. But the guys on the field are not doing him any favors.

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
H2o replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, I wouldn't really call that high end college production. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't really standout in any way. https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/xavier-worthy-1.html -

1st quarter Josh was unstoppable. The Saints figured it out and started changing things up. The simulated and real pressures Brandon Staley dialed reminded me of what Spags does to us. I think there are many of us who have taken Spencer Brown and his development for granted. You could CLEARLY see he was missed yesterday. I hope he's not out for an extended period of time. Our defense continues to get gouged, guys are out of position on many plays, and the pass rush is nonexistent. We can't continue to survive like this. In the end, a win is a win. Still, it was most unimpressive and we easily could have taken the L. -
The SB Halftime Show, once a decent 15 minute piece of entertainment, has finally reached the bottom of the barrel. A dude who calls himself "Bad Bunny" Can't say I've heard the first song. But from looking at him, I'd guess he attended the Diddy parties.

This game is over. The Ravens will never get the stops on defense to get back in it -

The Ravens don't have that fire in them. It consistently shows against the better teams. I expect the Chiefs to stretch this out to a two or three score lead in the 2nd half, then keep it that way.
