  1. Gase would have ruined Allen too. Everything he touches or coaches turns to 💩.
  2. Good for Teller. Glad he is finding some success. Always happy to see a VA kid make it.
  3. Those different angles he's throwing from, and ACCURATELY, are a thing of beauty. The one to Beasley was outstanding. Josh is legit.
  4. Prior to this game we got gashed the last two weeks by lesser RB's than Josh Jacobs. RB's like Brieda(MIA), Myles Gaskin(MIA), and Darrell Henderson(LAR) made us look like a JV squad out there. Yesterday the Raiders' rushing attack had 23 carries for 86 yards in total for a 3.7 ypc clip. Jacobs himself had 15 carries for 48 yards at a 3.2 ypc average. It was a quality outing against one of the better RB's in the league. It was nice to see considering we were coming off of giving up almost 170 yards to the Rams on a 5.2 ypc average and 100 yards to the Dolphins on a 4.5 ypc average.
  5. Klein is visibly slower than any other person on the field outside of the DL and even some of those guys look faster. He's a liability at this point. Playing Dodson is the right move.
  6. I wonder if the OP has kids? I have 13 and 14 year old boys. They play a video games online with their friends all of the time. Sometimes I happen to walk upstairs to talk to them about something while they are playing video games with their friends and catch them in the middle of moments talking smack or raging so to speak. Sooooo, yeah, they're definitely my kids.
  7. 1. Mahomes 2. Wilson 3. Rodgers 4. Jackson 5. Watson 6. Allen This is what I see right now. Just my 2. If Allen's play keeps up, as well as everyone else's, then he could be #4 by year's end.
  8. Who cares? I wonder what his mama thinks about her boy taking that L yesterday facing a team with a legitimate MVP candidate @ QB?
  9. And that's what I was getting at with the statement that Allen is more of a "leader of men" type than Carr is.
  10. If he keeps it up through this whole season then I would expect something to get done early next year. Technically we still have him under contract for two more years after this season being they will certainly pick up the 5th year option. The figures will be astronomical is he keeps it up at this rate and gets a taste of some playoff success as well.
  11. Absolutely. They are missing a starting CB, DT, and LB.
  12. Yes, Allen took a bad loss on that one play. Prior to that he had actually thrown the ball away 4 times to avoid a loss. The Houston game? Really? Is that even relevant at this point with what we've seen from Allen this year so far? Carr is alright and he had some hella nice throws yesterday, but I'm taking Allen 7 days a week and twice on Sunday. Allen has a clutch gene in him you just can't teach, a trait that Carr does not possess. Allen is also more of a "leader of men" person than Carr is. At the end of the day, one team is 4-0 and their QB is a legitimate MVP candidate. The other is 2-2 and their QB is not.
  13. He's playing really, REALLY well at LG right now. Once we get Feliciano back @ RG this OL is going to be even better. It's amazing what Beane has done with this team in his short time here.
  14. Allen is on a Mahomes type of trajectory right now. Once he stops taking those bad sacks for a loss from time to time, he's on that level. Yesterday he threw the ball away at least 3 or 4 times prior to that one gaffe and I was extremely happy with that.
  15. Because Daboll finally realized he was a complete QB
  16. Like anyone with half a brain knew they would. BOB is an idiot.
  17. Josh is the better passer, Lamar is the better athlete. Allen can do things throwing the football that Lamar can't at this point. Lamar can do things with his legs that no other player in the NFL can at this point. Allen's deep ball is better, he consistently completes passes outside the hashes, and he is thriving from the pocket this year. Lamar is spotty on the deep ball, has trouble throwing outside the hashes, and struggles from the pocket unless it's those quick hitters across the middle of the field.
  18. https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats After 4 weeks, with Mahomes and the Chiefs left to go against the Pats tonight, Allen is 2nd in Passing Yards, 2nd in Passing TD's, 3rd in QBR, and 2nd in Passer Rating. Right now Allen is on pace for over 5,300 yards and 48 passing TD's to only 4 INT's(though the only one called an INT was NOT an INT). You tack on the rushing TD's and he's likely going to account for somewhere between 55-60 total TD's at this pace. Diggs is tied for 1st in Receiving Yards. Beasley is sitting at 21st in Receiving yards and John Brown at 45th. The road surely gets tougher, but this is one HELL OF A START for this offense.
  19. Wentz looks like Losman out there these days
  20. Him and his boy Darnold are so tight Josh even tried to get matching injuries.
  21. We needed this win today. After tomorrow we will have a 2 game lead in the division. The next 4 are huge. Titans, Chiefs, Pats, and Seahawks. If we can go 2-2 and be 6-2 at the midway point then we are well on our way.
  22. It wasn't flawless, but we saw some life from the defense and Josh is still playing really well.
