Exactly! Couldn't have said it any better. The people that are disappointed he didn't swing for the fences and trade up and make a big splash are the same people who think this team was contending for a Super Bowl this year. It was always going to be a 2 year re-tooling process and I think he did an excellent job plugging in the holes with this draft. I can see him making more of a splash move next year.

Personality wise he is going to fill the Tre White void

I've been saying it on here all offseason this is absolutely the beginning of a transition period/reset. Do not have expectations for this team to be a Super Bowl contender this year. It just is what it is. All in all I thought they did a good job of plugging holes this draft but they will still need at least one more offseason of work to really get this thing back on track.

Drafting players and how they will pan in in the NFL is never an exact science. Fans are allowed to have opinions. Most of the time they are wrong lol. But there has been plenty of times where Beane & Co. have been wrong themselves. We just have to let it play out but of course fans are going to have their opinions

What's your one go to show that no matter how many times you've seen every episode if you're feeling bored or down you can still watch it and it brings you some comfort? It's definitely Seinfeld for me. Growing up my parents used to always watch it, I found it funny as a kid but after going through adulthood it became so much more relatable and even more funny to me. Doesn't matter how many times I've seen an episode if I'm scrolling through the tv channels and it's on 75% of the time I am stopping to watch. At one point my answer probably would have been The Simpsons(classic years only) but I just don't watch it that often these days

I would love to trade up and get one of the premium receiver's but I hate the thought of giving up that much capital as we still have a few other holes that need to be addressed. Either way it's going to be a really interesting draft this year. I'm excited

But does he have the ammo to trade up that high? I know he would love to do it but I don't know if he has the means. I think realistically he trades up but more around 18 to early 20's range

Lindy's 64 I think he's only here for 2 or 3 years MAX(could be a one and done possibly) I think he can be the bridge guy that brings the franchise back to respectability and gets them in the playoffs but agreed then they will need to find the guy that can really navigate them to a Cup contending team.

Wouldn't have been my first choice but I'd rather have Lindy than Granato. Brindamour was never a realistic option IMO because I'm pretty confident he just stays with Carolina. I think with some proper roster maintenance Lindy can get this group to the playoffs.

If the NHL continues to expand one city that I would like to see get a team is Milwaukee. Seems like it would be a great hockey town.
