New Renderings of New Stadium Clubs
BillsPride12 replied to Never NEVER Give-up's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ehh I'll disagree with you there. I think there are a lot of people who are genuinely disappointed with where the modern NFL has evolved to. It's not the same hobby as it was 20 years ago -

Were they bought out by the Bills? I know some groups in the La Galleria lot and have been there for years, I wonder if they will look for a new spot now -

What lots are these if you don't mind sharing? -
These guys played Artpark in Lewiston last night. Really wanted to go but couldn't make it so I've been listening to some of their tunes today as a consolation.

Pregame thread (8/17/24) - Bills at Steelers
BillsPride12 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I never really get into preseason but I didn't even get a chance to watch the game last week because I was in a golf tourney all day so I'm just ready to see anything at this point but I guess I'll be keeping tabs on Coleman, Van Pran, and Carter the most. -
One year ago today we lost Rick Jeanneret....pour one out for the best to ever do it 🥃

How much are you willing to pay for a good beef on weck sandwich?
BillsPride12 replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
Never had one of these with a sausage in it but I've had the Italian beef sandwiches in Chicago a few times and it blows away a Beef on weck -
Yeah I remember seeing that article when it came out. I have no doubt in my mind that it will happen. I missed the first one so I'm def going to need to get tickets for this one.

I could see them doing it in 2028. Would be the 20 year anniversary of the original one and the stadium will still be considered a new shiny toy at this point.

Will be curious to see what the Draft looks like in Green Bay before I form any opinion of how I think it would go in Buffalo. Right now I'm not sure what to think, could either be a huge mess or huge success

Sorry to hear about that dude. I've been through the layoff thing a couple times and it sucks no doubt but I'm sure you will land on your feet and something better will come out of it.

Spoiled indeed. I used to work in Cheektowaga and would get Charley the Butcher for lunch a decent amount back then but haven't been there since I left the company almost 5 years ago now. I need to make a trip out that way soon -
These guys have to be in the running for greatest one hit wonder band of all-time?(Ok so if you wanna get technical I know they had two hits)

I agree things are totally different nowadays, but I'd be surprised if kids don't still get as excited about Summer vacation as they always have? As a kid I feel like there were two major yearly events...Summer vacation and Christmas. I guess birthdays were still a pretty big deal back then too
-
I think one of my underlying factors in loving Summer so much is also a feeling that still resonates all these years later with being a kid and having Summer vacations....the feeling of FREEDOM for 3 months, hanging with friends, staying up much later and being able to sleep in until whenever you wanted, playing pickup football and hockey games with the kids in the neighborhood. There really is nothing like Summer vacation as a kid for the rest of your life(except maybe when you reach retirement age if your still in good enough health to enjoy it) Fall still reminds me of the party crashing to an end and having to go back to school and being back on the "clock" 5 days a week. I didn't hate school overall but I definitely hated that feeling of having to go back every year lol.

With Summer rapidly winding down and Fall season inching closer upon us, I'd be curious what the majority of people on here like the best. I would think Fall will be the more popular answer because of football and I really do love the Fall season myself but for me Summer will always be number 1. There's just always so much going on in the Summer and I love to be outside as much as I can. Summer just always goes by too quickly for me. I'm excited for the football season to start and other Fall activities but it's also a bittersweet feeling at this time of the year as the Summer season comes to an end.
