  1. Wait was this ever a thing!? Were there rumors of the Bills trying to get Jerry Ball? I don't remember that but I was pretty young back then I remember I had a Jerry Ball football card and me and my friend used to call him Jelly Ball and thought that was so funny...the things we find amusing when we are kids
  2. In all seriousness if this was the game that led to stadiums cutting off beer sales after halftime that's a pretty significant game in NFL history. I know there have been little features and mini docs on Cleveland's(Indians not Browns) 10 cent beer night in the 70s
  3. I have no recollection of this game, I was too young but it sounds like they need to make a 30 for 30 about this night
  4. Alright I've gotta add Troy Polamalu to my original list Just watched 30 minutes of his NFL highlights on the NFL Network...Football porn
  5. The new Beverly Hills Cop movie on Netflix was very good
  6. I can't remember which Bill it was now(pretty sure it was Thurman but it could have been Bruce) but I remember seeing an interview where they asked one of the star players from the Super Bowl teams who is one guy from that era that would have fit in with those Bills teams and he answered John Randle and it was fun to envision that team with Randle at NT on the Defensive side of the ball
  7. Thanks for the heads up...football season is in the air
  8. If he played for the Bills he would've gone down as an all-time Buffalo icon, not that he was the most talented QB to ever play the game but his personality would've fit like a glove in Western New York
  9. There's just so many...Some of the first names that come to mind for me are Walter Payton, Jerry Rice, Ronnie Lott, Brett Favre, Reggie White
  10. It's an absolute classic in my opinion. I'm not sure why it never got the Fast Times or Breakfast Club status but it def has a cult following
  11. Honorable mention that I haven't seen anyone list and I feel is a totally underrated movie in general Can't Buy Me Love
  12. That's a fun movie but yeah I wouldn't classify it as a high school movie. Maybe more of a college movie if anything
  13. https://www.audacy.com/wgr550/sports/sabres/simon-25-years-later-my-no-goal-story Howard Simon looks back on No Goal...pretty good read if you can stomach the heartbreak lol. God I miss Empire Sports though!
  14. I've never done a full travel package with Fans of Buffalo but I have bought tailgate party tickets through them and they have always been reliable. I think they are legit, I would not panic yet. They are probably still working on putting everything together.
  15. Yeah Superbad was a little after my high school years but still a great one, probably the last true great high school movie made I want to see this one but can't find it anywhere, usually you can find most movies available on Amazon Prime even if you have to pay a few bucks for some of them but it's not even on there
  16. I watched Fast times at Ridgemont High last night for the first time in awhile and it still holds up so well after all these years! To me that's the gold standard as far as the high school romps go. I could probably flip a coin between that and Dazed and Confused. It's a genre that's been beaten to death with movies from all different decades and era's so lots to choose from. Curious to see what other people think
  17. This is exactly what we need and fans have been begging for so I don't understand the bitching and moaning about this move.
  18. I remember him the most from Roseanne but he was on a lot of stuff over the years. RIP
  19. I hope that's the case but you just never know with Adams
