Wait was this ever a thing!? Were there rumors of the Bills trying to get Jerry Ball? I don't remember that but I was pretty young back then
I remember I had a Jerry Ball football card and me and my friend used to call him Jelly Ball and thought that was so funny...the things we find amusing when we are kids
In all seriousness if this was the game that led to stadiums cutting off beer sales after halftime that's a pretty significant game in NFL history. I know there have been little features and mini docs on Cleveland's(Indians not Browns) 10 cent beer night in the 70s
I can't remember which Bill it was now(pretty sure it was Thurman but it could have been Bruce) but I remember seeing an interview where they asked one of the star players from the Super Bowl teams who is one guy from that era that would have fit in with those Bills teams and he answered John Randle and it was fun to envision that team with Randle at NT on the Defensive side of the ball
If he played for the Bills he would've gone down as an all-time Buffalo icon, not that he was the most talented QB to ever play the game but his personality would've fit like a glove in Western New York

Howard Simon looks back on No Goal...pretty good read if you can stomach the heartbreak lol. God I miss Empire Sports though!
I've never done a full travel package with Fans of Buffalo but I have bought tailgate party tickets through them and they have always been reliable. I think they are legit, I would not panic yet. They are probably still working on putting everything together.
Yeah Superbad was a little after my high school years but still a great one, probably the last true great high school movie made
I want to see this one but can't find it anywhere, usually you can find most movies available on Amazon Prime even if you have to pay a few bucks for some of them but it's not even on there
I watched Fast times at Ridgemont High last night for the first time in awhile and it still holds up so well after all these years! To me that's the gold standard as far as the high school romps go. I could probably flip a coin between that and Dazed and Confused. It's a genre that's been beaten to death with movies from all different decades and era's so lots to choose from. Curious to see what other people think
