  1. Sorry to hear about that dude. I've been through the layoff thing a couple times and it sucks no doubt but I'm sure you will land on your feet and something better will come out of it.
  2. Spoiled indeed. I used to work in Cheektowaga and would get Charley the Butcher for lunch a decent amount back then but haven't been there since I left the company almost 5 years ago now. I need to make a trip out that way soon
  3. These guys have to be in the running for greatest one hit wonder band of all-time?(Ok so if you wanna get technical I know they had two hits)
  4. I agree things are totally different nowadays, but I'd be surprised if kids don't still get as excited about Summer vacation as they always have? As a kid I feel like there were two major yearly events...Summer vacation and Christmas. I guess birthdays were still a pretty big deal back then too
  5. I think one of my underlying factors in loving Summer so much is also a feeling that still resonates all these years later with being a kid and having Summer vacations....the feeling of FREEDOM for 3 months, hanging with friends, staying up much later and being able to sleep in until whenever you wanted, playing pickup football and hockey games with the kids in the neighborhood. There really is nothing like Summer vacation as a kid for the rest of your life(except maybe when you reach retirement age if your still in good enough health to enjoy it) Fall still reminds me of the party crashing to an end and having to go back to school and being back on the "clock" 5 days a week. I didn't hate school overall but I definitely hated that feeling of having to go back every year lol.
  6. With Summer rapidly winding down and Fall season inching closer upon us, I'd be curious what the majority of people on here like the best. I would think Fall will be the more popular answer because of football and I really do love the Fall season myself but for me Summer will always be number 1. There's just always so much going on in the Summer and I love to be outside as much as I can. Summer just always goes by too quickly for me. I'm excited for the football season to start and other Fall activities but it's also a bittersweet feeling at this time of the year as the Summer season comes to an end.
  7. I don't have any insider info but I knew it was only a matter of time before this would happen. Tailgating is going to look significantly different at the new stadium and I still think there's a lot of fans who can't see it coming yet. People are going to be forking over a lot of $$$ for a much more watered down gameday experience IMO.
  8. One of my favorite covers of all-time. So good!
  9. I couldn't agree more. This thread reminded me of my favorite Bills post-game presser clip from Thurman. Imagine somebody saying this about an opponent nowadays!?
  10. "Fired more times than a Civil War cannon" 🤣🤣🤣 An era where football coaches were much more colorful....and we were a better off society for it
  11. They basically already do that...and throw New Orleans in there in that mix too
  12. Definitely an all-time classic scene. I remember watching that as a kid and laughing so hard I was almost in tears lol
  13. I always thought he was funny as hell as Latka on Taxi. Man between him, Christopher Lloyd playing Reverand Jim and Danny Devito as Louie Dipalma that has to be one of the all-time great casts of characters
  14. All of those other things have always been there, take away Josh Allen and you go back to the drought era Bills and they are the NFL's laughing stock again not the most popular team. *I mean it's not all and only because of Josh either because we have a lot of other talented players on this team too but Josh is really the spark plug that completely changed the aura around the Buffalo Bills in the modern era.
  15. It's absolutely the biggest factor in the Bills recent era popularity. I mean the crazy fans are part of it too but our fans have always been like that and nobody was jumping on the bandwagon when we sucked cuz of the wild fans lol
  16. Surprised no mention of Robin Williams yet, I almost had him on my original list
  17. Haha very true, could easily be either one and I agree there's really nothing quite like the airport bar! Have had some amazing conversations with complete strangers in those places over the years
  18. Leslie Neilson didn't come to my mind immediately but that's an excellent choice
  19. I'm going with: Lucille Ball Chris Farley Jim Carrey The Three Stooges
  20. Normal behavior for a Buffalonian
