  2. Doesn't seem like it would be my type of movie but I keep hearing it's supposed to be really good so I am a little intrigued. Don't see myself going to the theater to see it but will probably try to watch it once it's on demand or streaming somewhere
  3. This used to be a big night for me. Had a core group of friends that would always get together and go out and watch the draft at a bar. Over time as people started getting married and having kids and getting older that tradition faded over time. Now it's hit or miss if I get together with a couple friends and go out to watch it somewhere or just watch it at home. As of right now I don't have anything planned for it but if I just stay home and watch it I'll at least order some pizza and wings. But with that said it's still fun to hear what other people have going on for it. Anybody doing anything fun for it?
  4. That's my biggest problem with the NFL. They constantly make changes like this to increase profits and revenue but it's at the expense of watering down the product and making it less entertaining. I hate when people say "well it's the leagues job to grow the game" The NFL is already pretty damn big to begin with without adding more games and playoff teams. Greed
  5. If it meant I was living in a gated community on a golf course I could live with it😁 But I get your point for sure
  6. I don't mind Easter but it's also because we do it lowkey in my family. We go over to my Brother and SIL's midday for an Easter lunch spend some time hanging out with the kids, get outside for some fresh air(big for us in WNY) and I am already back home and have some time to relax before the work week starts up again.
  7. I hope your right, but I feel like they would have to really knock this draft out of the park in order for that to happen.
  8. NHL playoffs are the best IMO The leagues really need to stop tinkering with things every year, 99% of the time the changes they make are for the worse
  9. What makes you think that?
  10. Kevyn Adams and Lindy Ruff's exit interviews coming up in about 15 minutes on WGR for anybody that is interested
  11. That's the beautiful thing about memories, you don't have to miss them they can stay with you the rest of your life
  12. I would be interested if we get a few board members to do it
  13. That's understandable. It's a Hell of a matchup for round 1 though. Should be a barnburner of a series
  14. Gotcha. You missed some good times in the late 90s and Mid 2000's...but it's a good thing you haven't had to watch them the last 14 years
  15. Augie you seem like a guy who stays pretty well connected to your WNY roots. Did you not follow the Sabres in 05-07? I'm just genuinely curious. Obviously there's no right or wrong answer
  16. I've never liked Bon Jovi...Bon Jovi sucks! Continue on with the boycott my friend
  17. They are playing against each other in the first round
  18. It's crazy. Then add the Penguins into the mix(I know they are not an original 6 team but they have been a marquee NHL franchise) and the NHL playoffs are going to look very different this year
  19. While he was a phenomenal player and did a lot more noteworthy things in his career than this whenever I think of Reggie Miller the first thing that always comes to my mind is him chirping Spike Lee. Man sports just seemed more fun back then
  20. Well Marlboro was a proud sponsor at the stadium afterall 😄 My Uncle had his season tickets from 86 to 96 so that would check out. Said it was his halftime ritual to go grab a friend baloney sammy
  21. A bar food staple My Uncle said you used to be able to get a Fried Bologna sandwich at the stadium when it was in it's Rich Stadium heyday years
  22. Wow Muggsy Bogues and Peter McNeely you just instantly brought me back to 1995!
  23. Winning the Grand Slam doesn't mean he automatically is on the Nicklaus or Tiger level but he has earned himself a spot in rare company.
  24. Was anybody at this game? I had only been to a couple games at the Aud when I was really young and got more into the Sabres starting the next year but one of my childhood best friends was there and had a poster commemorating it hanging in his room for a bit which I always thought was cool. It blows my mind the Sabres have been playing in the current arena now longer than they played at the Aud
