  1. That actually sounds like a fun project
  2. I have learned over the years I am in the minority on the boards but once the season is over I am ok with it. Football season is fun but it's also exhausting and draining when you are so invested into it. I couldn't keep it up for a whole year. It's nice to be able to allocate some time and energy to other hobbies and passions going forward until next season gets here.
  3. If you do why do you continue to hang on to them.... sentimental value or holding out hope someday they will still be worth some $$$? I still have a big box of all of my sports cards from when I was a kid in my parents basement. When I was a kid my grandpa was big on don't ever get rid of your sports cards because someday they will be worth lots of money. That was true for his generation, and I am pretty sure he was one of those people who had some valuable cards when he was a kid that he didn't hang on to that were later on worth a lot. But cards in the late 80s and 90s were so mass produced there just isn't that kind of value to them. I check in with local memorabilia and collector shops to see if there's any value to these cards yet every few years or so and there really isn't. I guess I hold out hope that maybe in another 10-15 years some of those cards might be worth something but I'm not expecting it. I guess I have a little sentimental value attached to my sports cards and the players I loved as a youth but it's not like I ever go through them and the older I get I think the more the excitement of going through them lessens. I have thought about getting rid of them but at the end of the day I really don't have any reason to as I just have a box full of stuff and my parents have allocated a little bit of space in their basement for me to keep a few things in "storage"
  4. I met up with a buddy today for some wings and beers. Not a bad time
  5. Are we still on a football message board or are we transitioning into the new messageboard for fans of The View?
  6. I've started to check out on the Sabres this year but I had to tune in for Rob Ray night. Thought they did a good job with the presentation, brought back lots of awesome memories. Glad the boys got it done and came out with a W for Rayzor
  7. Great stuff, just need a few drops and you def get some kick! Goes great on vegetable rice or noodles too
  8. I forgot about this stuff! Probably haven't had in about 10 years
  9. That's kinda sad, WNY Summers are beautiful!
  10. Excellent tip my friend, I will look into trying to find some
  11. Frank's is the King for me but every once in awhile I like to switch it up with some Cholula
  12. I'm going with a throwback for the sake of this topic
  13. Living in WNY these are the dog days of Winter right now. I'll watch the Sabres, catch up on movies and TV shows and get excited for the arrival of golf season in a few months.
  14. Congratulations to Rob Ray going into Sabres Hall of Fame tonight
  15. Hearing this gave me a good chuckle. Also makes me appreciate I grew up watching the NFL in the era I did...minus the whole Bills losing 4 Super Bowls thing that is
  16. Common theme here. Regardess of what positions we are drafting we have to start hitting on homerun players with our high draft picks. The lack of production from these picks is killing us
  17. My all-time greatest Bills quarterback is JP Losman
  18. This is actually a pretty spot on analogy!
  19. We've all had to suffer for years, why should she be spared!?
  20. Bigger headcase than Diggs no thanks
  21. I mean yeah the loss last night sucks but the Bills are one of the best teams in the NFL right now, there should be no reason for you to stop pulling for them lol
  22. I'll probably just watch it at home but I'm def not going to any parties or doing anything eventful for it
  23. Decompress. I'll be reading the boards today and listening to the sports talk shows and deal with the agony but starting tomorrow I will start cutting back on my NFL consumption for a little bit. Catch up on movies and TV shows. Start going to the driving range and look forward to the arrival of golf season. Being a Bills fan is an intense hobby, it's good to step away a bit after the season is over and reset yourself
  24. I agree. We all would have loved to actually win a Super Bowl but history is what it is and the Bills went to 4 in a row. It's something they are recognized for as they are the only team to ever do that. I'm saying does the recognition for that just die out if the Chiefs pull off 3 Super Bowl wins in a row, I would think so unfortunately
