  1. I respect their greatness but I'm just sick of the Chiefs at this point and the sideshow that comes with it now with certain people that I won't even bother mentioning. And I hate having to listen to this whole narrative about how the NFL is rigged and scripted for the Chiefs to get there because of the ratings because of a certain someone. I don't believe that's true but I just hate the fact this has become a narrative. The Niners I feel kinda meh about as well, as an organization they have either been to the Super Bowl or NFC championship game so many times already and there is nothing exciting about Brock Purdy. Like I just mentioned above, yes I probably will end up watching the game but this just feels kinda lame this year. I was actually very excited for the Championship games today.
  2. I mean ultimately I probably will end up watching but this matchup just feels so stale. Will def not be going out to any Super Bowl parties or anything like that for this game
  3. Can we hang a banner for this?
  4. I would but I can also acknowledge Campbell has his own flaws. But I've still been overall really impressed by the program he has put in place in Detroit.
  5. Well this is the one Super Bowl outcome I was dreading going into the games this weekend and the one outcome that will have me seriously considering not watching the Super Bowl this year
  6. I really believe this year a ton of traditional NFL fans will tune out the Super Bowl but it won't matter because the ratings will be through the roof because of the Swifties 🤢
  7. I think it's probably a combination of both. Beane and McDermott have built a very good football program, one that has us winning divisions and getting out of the wildcard every year but the problem is they haven't built a true Championship contender. The optimists say stuff like "well If this, that, and this didn't happen we would be right there" but the problem is these variables happen every year with us. Seeing the Chiefs reach the Super Bowl yet again after going through their own version of that this year during the regular season should be a real eye opener. I think the analogy of the Phillip Rivers Chargers teams is spot on for this current Bills era.
  8. I have similar feelings. I have pretty much come to terms that I will be rooting hard for Detroit the rest of the way....But if they do come up short will feel a sense of relief they didn't get one before us.
  9. Can't believe it's been 33 years. I remember when it was the 20th anniversary like it was yesterday.
  10. Newspapers will be long gone by the time the Bills win a Super Bowl
  11. This is really hitting home for me this year. Never been an MLB guy, tuned the NBA out years ago, and I'm at a point where I can barely stomach watching the Sabres. This is it for awhile
  12. Probably not the most popular choice on here but Lamar But I wouldn't mind seeing Goff win one either Mahomes has already been to the Mountain Top and Purdy doesn't deserve a ring It would and I am rooting for the Lions from here out but there's definitely a petty side in me that would be disappointed to see the Lions get one before we do. Especially when you think about where the Bills and Lions were 4 years ago
  13. Prayers to you and your wife brother 🙏
  14. Even as a kid I felt like he portrayed that "Mr.McMahon" character a little too easily, it didn't seem like he was doing much acting
  15. Anybody following the latest Vince McMahon allegations? Yikes 😳
  16. As far as passion and showing out for the team I'd say Buffalo has as good of fans as anybody out there As far as behavior we have both some of the most amazing fans and some of the worst. I've always felt like our fanbase feels like some sort of hybrid breeding of Green Bay fans and Philly fans lol. It's definitely unique
  17. I've been wanting a premier pass rusher in his prime soooooo bad for decades now...that is one of the most important championship pieces after getting the QB. Imagine our Defense with a TJ Watt, Nick Bosa or Aidan Hutchinson...BAD THINGS MAN
  18. Yeah I mean it still really stings the Chiefs knocked the Bills out again but if you take away those feelings I think KC-Baltimore is a great matchup and whoever wins that game is more than likely winning the Super Bowl this year. The NFC matchup is exciting because of the Lions storyline so all in all it should be a fun Conference Championship weekend this year Now I was just telling a buddy at work today that if the Super Bowl ends up being KC-San Fran I'm probably not watching that
  19. Was sad to learn about this earlier today, didn't know him personally but I knew of him and his battle as I'm from the Niagara area, I'm a bit younger but I know people who were friends with him. Seemed like a great guy and a true Bills fan through and through. RIP Jon
  20. I don't like Harbaugh but he does make the Chargers better and the AFC even more competitive
  21. I like Kelly but that's kind've silly. Wasn't the knock on Kelly he didn't do enough on that last drive to get the Bills closer to Norwood's ideal yard range? 47 yards was no chip shot back in 1991
  22. I thought he might have been playing with bruised ribs just judging from his reactions to certain hits in that area....100% speculation on my part and I could be completely wrong but if it was something like that then I think that could contribute to dropped passes. I actually don't think it was a hamstring because there have been plenty of times where he has been getting open where either Josh isn't getting him the ball or he's dropping the pass. Just a very weird situation without knowing what is actually going on.
  23. I'll be honest I really thought he was playing through some sort of injury. One where he was able to still suit up and take the field but enough discomfort he couldn't play at his level. I thought for sure there would be some sort of acknowledgement of this after the season was over but neither Beane or McDermott said anything in their press conferences and Diggs didn't speak to the media so now I'm even more confused than I was during the season trying to get an understanding of what happened. I just can't believe he completely fell off a cliff in the middle of the season and I don't question his effort as a competitor so it really is confusing.
  24. Didn't even bother watching any of the game last night...I mean I work mornings so it was an easy choice but I'm really checking out on the Sabres this year. I feel like even when they are playing in Eastern time zones I'm gonna have no desire to watch. Anybody else feeling this way?
