  1. Exactly. Leaving Tuel as your main backup was incredibly irresponsible. Stupid, even.
  2. Why the hell didn't he get a damn flu shot?
  3. I'm not sure you are quite understanding. Profession does not matter when it comes to depression, anxiety or any other "walking" mental illness. Actually, if he was a bus boy and struggling to make ends meet it might even be worse. Hell, maybe football is the thing that has kept him upright for these years. You just don't know, so be careful about what you are supposing. And no, there isn't always an indicator of depression/anxiety or mental illness when you are young. You are basing your opinions on wildly incorrect assumptions. There are lots of people around here who are close to and have experienced mental illness. There are probably even people here who are trained to counsel it who are probably cringing at what you are saying. Careful, dude.
  4. This is going to take a while to get up and running. I wouldn't expect any real results until the end of next year. The technical side alone (databases, hardware, designing the cube and fact tables, defining measures, reporting platform, etc.) will take months. He'll need to assemble a team, too. So don't expect immediate results. It is just the name of the game.
  5. SI is completely stupid. Has the Bills ranked below the Dolphins, Baltimore and Carolina. The Bills beat all these teams. And also directly below two teams that are 2-4.
  6. Here's a trade - they pick up Skelton, we trade them Mario and Flynn for Skelton! Brilliant if I don't say so myself.
  7. This. There weren't enough options on in the poll.
  8. Wow. Not watch football much?
  9. He was also one more screwup from being suspended for a significant period of time. Doing stupid stuff was becoming a regular thing with him at the time. It is easy to only remember part of the story. It was a good trade at the time, given the chances he would be suspended were pretty high.
  10. Reminder: EJ has started more NFL games and booked more NFL game time than Thad has.
  11. I'm totally sure he was damaged goods. I mean, look at the facts! Look at all the news reports, and his injuries. I mean, clearly damaged goods because it wasn't the fact that someone ran into his knee, it was that that knee that was bent backwards by a Brown was already damaged goods.
  12. How could a helmet to helmet hit cause a knee injury? Dem smart clevelanders don't know much about anatomy.
  13. I know multiple people who have had Plantar Fasciitis. It is painful, but you can come back from it with steady treatment and care. My wife runs marathons and triathlons. She had it, was diligent about treatment, and was running again in 3 weeks. She started running before she was pain-free, but there's a point where the Dr will tell the patient that they aren't at a risk for further damage, just need to deal with pain. Obviously, it depends on severity, but Byrd has been out for a while, and he clearly is waiting as long as he can. He basically doesn't give a **** about the team, and is milking it for all it is worth. He played on it last year when it was worse. I partially blame his agent, who is biased because he gets to share in Byrd's payday. He also probably told him he'd be the highest paid S in the NFL, and that would not happen in any galaxy. If someone wanted to pay Byrd, they would have traded for him.
  14. I always enjoy your AFTABTGINPO posts. Thanks, man.
  15. I hope he plays well. Good luck to him.
  16. My putting is good. I read this one firm - center cup.
  17. It is management's fault for not addressing a clear deficiency. There's no excuse to have zero depth at CB.
  18. Lindell was a great Bill. Let's show a little class for the guy, OK? Sheesh.
  19. No suggestion should be made regarding picking someone up without choosing who should be cut in the same position to fit him.
  20. I think this is an excellent question to ponder. PEDs make your body capable of more than it was designed for. Perfect example is Tiger Woods in golf. There's been pretty wide speculation that Tiger Woods has taken PEDs. His doctor Anthony Galea has been busted buying them. A few years later, Tiger is injured, Then injured again. Then injured again. Add to that his strange behavioral issues, and boom. Not only that, Tiger isn't a guy with a big frame. Anyone who sees him up close can see how small his frame is, and probably not meant to carry the muscle he's tried to put on. Same for NFL players. Add extreme collisions to the mix, and there are tons of injuries.
  21. WNY really is a great place to live. Maybe not to party and sow wild oats, but to live and raise a family it can't be beat. I would prefer shorter winters, but we really don't get hurricanes, tornados, plagues of bugs, dangerous animals, traffic, etc.
  22. There's a big difference between telling it like it is and always searching for the negative angle. D-bag Jerry always searches for the negative angle, no matter what.
  23. I think there's a difference between an NFL vet QB and a rookie, as well. That will completely change how you implement an offense.
